Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's photographer Misan Harriman opened up about the hidden meaning behind the viral photo announcing their second pregnancy.

Over the weekend, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle broke the internet when they announced that they were making baby Archie a big brother. Days after the big news, the photographer responsible for the viral photo shared details about the image.

Misan Harriman, the photographer, spoke to Good Morning America about the process, revealing that he took in London with the help of technology while Harry and Meghan were in California.

Harriman said that due to the ongoing pandemic, he couldn't be physically present to shoot the couple, so he remotely conducted it with the help of an iPad while speaking with them. Speaking about the powerful meaning of the image, he said:

"You don't even see the image, you feel it. They are lost in each other. And the tree in the background and just life growing around them is incredibly powerful."

He mentioned that the tree and garden around them represent fertility and a forward progression while describing the Sussexes as the absolute soulmates who go through life together.

Per reports, Harriman, a close friend of the royal couple, explained that he hopes the groundbreaking image symbolizes hope, love, and fortitude, especially for women who have gone through a dark time regarding a miscarriage.

For the maternity photoshoot, Harry and Meghan struck an informal, yet intimate theme with the Duke of Sussex wearing a casual button-down shirt rolled to the elbows while he posed barefoot.

The soon-to-be mother looked radiant as she rested on her husband's thighs, cradling her burgeoning bump as the couple stared affectionately into each other's eyes. She wore a maxi Carolina Herrera dress by Wes Gordon.

The outfit was a special nod to her son, Archie Harrison. It was specially made for the duchess when she was pregnant with him back in 2018. She reportedly has a close bond with the creative director of the brand.

Meghan and Harry's pregnancy announcement came months after the Duchess of Sussex revealed that she suffered a heartbreaking miscarriage last July in an open essay for the New York Times.

The pregnancy reveal, which was shared on Valentine's Day, had

to the late Princess Diana's announcement back on Valentine's Day of 1984 when she was pregnant with Prince Harry.
