John Travolta's Daughter Ella Pens Sweet Tribute on His First B-Day since Kelly Preston's Death

John Travolta's daughter Ella wrote a sweet tribute over the weekend for his first birthday since Kelly Preston's death.

"Grease" Legend John Travolta's daughter, Ella Bleu Travolta, wrote a touching message for her dad's birthday. This is his first birthday since his wife, Kelly Preston, passed away.

Ella shared a family photo of herself, her dad, and her younger brother, Benjamin. The 20-year-old called her dad the most incredible man ever.

There is no doubt that Ella loves her father immensely as she wrote that he was her best friend and the best dad ever. Along with birthday wishes, she thanked her dad for everything he had done for her.

Fans shared birthday wishes for the 67-year-old in the comment section of her posts. She thanked her dad for raising her and her brother and wrote:

"The world is so lucky to have you and so are we. I love you Daddy. I had the best time celebrating your birthday with you yesterday. ❤️❤️❤️"

The musical icon shared a video to his Instagram thanking his fans for their birthday wishes and continued support. In the video, he seems to be in an airport.

This is Travolta's first birthday since the passing of his wife, Kelly Preston. She passed away at 57 after a two-year battle with breast cancer on July 12, 2020.

Travolta shared that friends and family had been with her throughout her battle.

Travolta had shared a video of himself and Ella dancing in a restaurant as a way to honor his late wife and Ella's mom. Ella is wearing a pretty dark floral dress in the video.

He wrote in the caption that they were honoring Kelly by dancing together as she had loved to dance with Travolta. The father of three wrote alongside the video:

"My daughter @ella.travolta and I dancing in memory of momma. One of Kelly’s favorite things, dancing with me."

The proud dad regularly shares photos and videos of his children. For their first Christmas without their mom, he shared a video of the kids wishing everyone a "Merry Christmas."

On July 13, 2021, he shared the news of his wife's passing. He thanked the health care workers at MD Anderson Cancer Center for all that they did for her.

Kelly and her family had kept her cancer diagnosis private as she underwent treatment. Travolta shared that friends and family had been with her throughout her battle.

Kelly and Travolta were married for almost 30 years. They had 3 children together. Their eldest son Jett had passed away at 16 from a seizure in 2009.
