"I love her, and because we are in love, we never really gave up on each other. We knew that as soon as somebody said something sweet, we'd go right back."

Thomas has sold over 70 million records.
He reminisced on how they first met, saying that he saw her in the club from across the table with a drummer friend. For Thomas, it was love at first sight as he turned to tell his friend that he would take Gloria home.
When the trio got outside, Gloria approached him and told him she'd understand if he changed his mind. She unveiled her facing, showing scars from a recent injury after going through a windshield.
That didn't dissuade Thomas from falling in love, and the lovebirds tied the knot in 1968. The couple has three wonderful daughters and four precious grandchildren whom they adore.

After releasing some songs with The Triumphs, Thomas kickstarted his solo career in 1966. However, it wasn't until 1968 that he achieved worldwide fame when "Hooked On a Feeling" became a million-selling record.
His next hit, "Raindrops Keep Fallin' on My Head," put him on a pedestal after it was featured in the hit movie "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid" and won an Oscar for Best Original Song of the year.
