Magic Johnson Posts Snap of Family in Matching Dodgers Tops on His Daughter-in-Law Lisa's B-Day

No father-in-law does it better than Magic Johnson, 61, who has set a template for integrating his in-law into the family. The former athlete did not try to conceal his love for his son's wife during her birthday.

In a recent snap, fans were privy to see the bond and connection among the Johnsons. The patriarch shared an image that featured his son Andre, his daughter-in-law, Lisa, and their kids.

The same post showed Magic, his wife Cookie, and their son EJ Johnson. The entire family stood close as they flashed their white teeth at the camera for a family photo.

Magic's grandkids and son, EJ, donned Dodgers printed baseball shirts, while the NBA champion and his wife opted for matching colored outfits.

Andre twinned with his wife Lisa in a printed white and blue shirt. While the former paired his shirt with blue shorts, the birthday girl's bottom was not visible as she stood behind her two kids. The 61-year-old added the sweet caption:

"Happy birthday to my daughter-in-law Lisa! Thank you for taking care of Andre and blessing Cookie and I with two beautiful grandchildren!"

Fans of the Johnsons flocked in with numerous hearty wishes for the celebrant. Some gushed on the beautiful family photo, and a few others could not get their minds off the former athlete's sweet gesture.

Instagram users must have thought they had seen enough love until a few hours later when Cookie also shared a message in honor of the birthday girl.

Andre happens to be the NBA star's first child from his former partner, Melissa.

The mother-in-law posted a black carpet event look that featured her, Andre, and Lisa posing in a goofy manner. She later raved about the unique qualities her daughter-in-law possesses and concluded with a few words of prayer.

Lisa also flaunted sneak peeks of some birthday vibes via her Instagram page. The mother of two uploaded a ten-slide post with extracts from an incredible birthday party in Yountville, California. She backed it up with a caption that read:

"Grateful for another year around the sun and for my many blessings!"

Despite continually being under public scrutiny, Magic and his wife of over two decades have maintained a composed relationship with their kids.

The couple share two kids. EJ is their birth child while their daughter Elisa Johnson was adopted in 1995. Andre happens to be the NBA star's first child from his former partner, Melissa.

Regardless of the different circumstances of their kids' birth, the couple has continued to show nothing but love and support for them, whether or not they subscribe to their beliefs and life values.

After EJ revealed that he was gay, the father of three made several comments to back up his son's bravery while explaining that he would continue to love his child despite the decisions or the outcome.
