Kim Kardashian Reportedly Felt Kanye West Refused to Compromise with Her during Their Marriage

"Keeping Up With the Kardashian" star Kim Kardashian reportedly believes her estranged husband Kanye West did not compromise enough in their marriage — leading to their eventual divorce.

Amid her controversial divorce, sources close to reality star Kim Kardashian revealed one of the possible reasons for the pair's failed marriage was lack of compromise.

Speaking to People, a source explained that there is no drama between Kardashian and West but added that the reality star is disappointed they could not make their marriage work.

The source, however, added that despite her disappointment, Kardashian understands that it takes both of them to make the marriage work. The reality star reportedly believes West refused to compromise when they were together.

Though Kardashian and West have been separated for months, the reality star only just filed for divorce last Friday. According to the source, it has been an emotional past few days for her. The source added:

"She spent the weekend taking care of herself and her kids."

Kardashian has also reportedly taken time off work and has been spending time with her famous mom and sisters, who have offered their unwavering support.

Kardashian and West have been able to amicably agree on joint legal and physical custody of their four kids.

The new revelation comes only shortly after Kardashian shared a video of herself jamming to Olivia Rodrigo's hit breakup song "Driver's License" while driving.

Kardashian and West's divorce comes as no surprise as the pair has been going through tumultuous times for a while. Rumors of a divorce first rose last summer, but it was quickly shut down after they were seen spending private time with their kids.

However, by January, news came out that Kardashian was planning to file for divorce and had been working with prolific divorce lawyer Laura Wasser.

Though West is yet to make a statement about his split from Kardashian, a source reportedly revealed that the rapper is not happy with how things turned out. He is said to be seeing therapists to help him deal with the divorce.

While they are both unhappy about the end of their marriage, Kardashian and West have been able to amicably agree on joint legal and physical custody of their four kids, North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm.
