VOGUE ANNOUNCEMENT

Vogue was first to get the inside scoop on Goulding's big reveal as she shared what life as a mom-to-be has been like whilst she has been quarantining with Jopling in Gloucestershire.

Goulding was last seen at her performance at the V&A Museum in August. She was pregnant at the event, but nobody, including herself, knew that there was a bun in the oven. The singer opened up about her pregnancy sharing:

BABY BUMP

The British singer also took to Instagram to share the first snaps of her pregnancy. The photos show Goulding in a white dress that hugs her baby bump and silk gown perched on the side of a bath.

Princess Eugenie was an expected guest at the wedding as she is a mutual friend of Goulding and Jopling.

Goulding and her art dealer husband tied the knot in August 2019, and after only a year after making the trip down the aisle are welcoming an unexpected third member into their family.

UNEXPECTED SURPRISES

Because her pregnancy was such a surprise, it took the singer some time to adjust to the idea of becoming a mother so soon. Her body's changes in the first few months helped to get her mind around the growing baby in her belly.

Goulding has also had some struggles during her 30-weeks of pregnancy as she battled with extreme fatigue and strange cravings that had her running after unhealthy food options. She revealed:

"The sickness and tiredness was nothing I'd ever experienced before, I feel like it's a taboo to talk about pregnancy as being challenging."

WHERE IT ALL STARTED

Goulding's growing family started when she and Jopling exchanged nuptials in North Yorkshire, England. The "Love Me Like You Do" singer wore a stunning gown designed by Natacha Ramsay-Lévi.

Members of the royal family also made it onto the guest list, with Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank celebrating alongside Goulding and Jopling on their big day.

Princess Eugenie was an expected guest at the wedding as she is a mutual friend of Goulding and Jopling and may have been the one to introduce the two in the first place.

Jopling is Goulding's very educated better half with a degree from Havard already behind his name whilst pursuing his MBA at Oxford at the moment.
