Dwyane Wade's Trans Daughter Zaya Enjoys Outing with Him Sporting Stylish Orange Checkered Coat

Former NBA star Dwyane Wade's trans daughter completely steals the show in her stylish orange checkered coat while enjoying an outing with her famous father.

Retired NBA player Dwyane Wade takes his role as a father quite seriously. His overwhelming support for his transgender daughter Zaya has earned him plaudits from fans and celebrities alike.

Since he retired from the NBA, Wade has spent more quality bonding time with his kids, and he regularly posts receipts of these fun adventures on his Instagram page.

Earlier in the week, Wade shared a montage of pictures that captured him and his daughter Zaya enjoying various activities during a bright sunny day.

Zaya completely stole the show in her orange checkered jacket, and the lead video showed the two strolling on a sidewalk while wearing their facemasks. Wade captioned the photo writing:

"Sunday with my Zaya."

The slideshow also featured a photo of Zaya posing outside of the Starbucks building while holding a pink beverage cup. The full-length picture shows how Zaya pairs her colorful jacket with a brown sweater and matching pants.

Zaya's pink-colored hair gives her outfit a unique spark as she is also photographed outside of a movie theatre. However, the teenager looks her happiest while captured playing on a lush green lawn.

His excellent parenting has undoubtedly allowed Zaya to continue to shine despite the overwhelming spotlight on her.

While still holding firmly to his daddy duties, Wade slots into a new role as his daughter's cameraman, and from the pictures, it is evident that he gave Zaya a good treat.

Zaya first came out as a transgender girl in February 2020. Wade and his wife, actress Gabrielle Union, took it upon themselves to reintroduce the world to their daughter following the big announcement.

Since then, the couple has been very supportive of the teenager as she began a new chapter in her life, and Wade has taken every opportunity to express his pride in Zaya's courage and self-belief.

Over the years, Wade and Union have proven to be one of Hollywood's most admired couples. However, what strikes most people about the two is their dedication to their closely-knit blended family.

The couple shares a two-year-old daughter, Kaavia James Union Wade, and Union also helps in raising Wade's two sons Xavier Zechariah, 7, and Zaire, 18. Wade also serves as a guardian to his nephew Dahveon.

Wade's devotion to his family has mostly earned him praise from fans, but the best recognition came from his brood as they rained special praise on him during last year's Father's Day celebration.

The former athlete is a worthy example, and his excellent parenting has undoubtedly allowed Zaya to continue to shine despite the overwhelming spotlight on her in the last 12 months.
