In a recent interview, acclaimed actress Catherine Zeta-Jones cracked a joke that she did not expect her husband Michael Douglas to live to 103 years old.

During her recent appearance on the syndicated morning talk show "Live With Kelly and Ryan," Catherine Zeta-Jones spoke of their COVID-19 experience as a family.

As the "Ocean's Twelve" actress shared, it was interesting because the fact that her beloved children were with her during this time made her realize she is a homebody.

Zeta-Jones added that there was joy among her family, but like any family, it had been a challenging year, and her father-in-law, Kirk Douglas, had passed away in the same period.

Although it was hard, his life was wonderful, and he left a legacy, the actress added. Kirk was an icon of Hollywood's golden age who passed away at the age of 103.

Zeta-Jones and Michael are doting parents to two children, son Dylan, 19, and daughter Carys, 17. Throughout the past year, the family has spent plenty of quality time together.

The actress referred to him affectionately as "Pappy" on many occasions.
