Just seven months after giving birth to her first and only child, former WWE wrestler Brie Bella opened up about her warring desires to have a second child and return to her WWE roots.

Former professional WWE wrestler Nikki Bella is a mom, among many other things. However, now that she has her son, Matteo, she now faces a dilemma many mothers face: returning to work or holding on to grow her family. She explained to Us Weekly:

“I have such a battle in my head because I would want to wait and then I’m like, ‘OK, so I’m closer to 40. How’s that going to be?”

The reality star and former pro-wrestler admitted that her struggle with her desire to have a second child and to return to her WWE roots was becoming a larger topic as days passed.

She added that seeing her son with her sister, Brie’s kids, Birdie, 3, and 7-month old Buddy playing together also affected her mind. It temporarily sated her need to give Matteo a sibling, but it would return when he went to bed at night alone.

Discussing her hopes of returning to the wrestling ring, Bella shared that there are so many things she wants to do, but it seems like there is not enough time.

The proud mother of one last talked about her WWE return in a January interview on “The Ellen Show.” The decision is truly a tough one only Bella can make for herself.

While she was pregnant, the then-expecting-mom spoke endlessly about her dreams of becoming a mother.

Bella shares her precious baby boy, Matteo, with her fiance, “Dancing With The Stars” pro dancer Artem Chigvintsev. The pair welcomed the little one on July 31 last year, and fans warmly welcomed their bundle of joy.

The reality TV star announced the arrival of their son in a beautiful Instagram post. She shared the most heartwarming photo of Matteo’s tiny hand with her and Chigvintsev’s hands and beautifully captioned it:

“7/31/2020 ? Our baby boy is here and we couldn’t be HAPPIER and more in LOVE! Everyone is safe and healthy.”

Fans were overjoyed to hear the news, and many, including fellow celebrities, flocked to the comments with kind words and open arms to welcome Matteo.

While she was pregnant, the then-expecting-mom spoke endlessly about her dreams of becoming a mother. Her eagerness to have her baby was indeed adorable.

Matteo’s arrival came a little over a year after his mom retired from wrestling in March 2019. The two-time WWE Divas Champion officially started her WWE career in 2008 and, alongside her sister, stirred up the wrestling world.

This is the same Nikki Bella that has fought hard, thrown and received some of the meanest jabs, held jaw-dropping records, and has still come out strong.

Fans can rest assured that whatever her decision is concerning returning to WWE or giving baby Matteo a sibling, it will be the best decision for her.
