Viola Davis was a vision in blue in a recent photo shared on her Instagram page. Julius Tennon, her husband of 17 years, complimented her elegant look as they posed holding hands in the garden.
The 2021 Critics Choice Awards may have been a virtual experience for most Hollywood stars, but the decade-old tradition of high-fashion and showstopping elegance was upheld by those celebrities who attended, including actress Viola Davis.
The "How To Get Away with Murder" star commanded her fans' attention as she flaunted the stunning vibrant blue Greta Constantine gown she rocked for the esteemed event.

Davis did not disappoint this year in the floor-length A-line gown, which featured ruffles around the high neckline and short sleeves. Her glam squad accentuated the actress' gorgeous face with blue eyeshadow, red lipstick, and dramatic eyelashes.
In addition to the flawless makeup, the "The Help" actress wore her natural hair styled into neat coils then accessorized her look with huge statement gold earrings and a matching bracelet.
Davis was clearly impressed by her glam outfit and posed for a few snaps in the lush green garden before revealing her best accessory yet, her husband of 17 years, Julius Tennon.
The couple's love radiated through the photos as they smiled and looked into each other's eyes in one pic and held hands in a second photo. Tennon himself looked handsome in a gray suit, white shirt, and blue tie to match his lady's dress.
Despite not winning the award for her outstanding performance in "Ma Rainey's Black Bottom," Davis earned massive recognition from her fans, who gushed over her outfit in her comments section.
"That dress on you is something very special," complimented one fan, while another wrote, "You rock! Beautiful as always." A third fan remarked that Tennon was a lucky man to be in the presence of the phenomenal actress.

Tennon, an actor himself, is used to standing beside Davis, and despite not being as successful as she is in the film industry, he has no problem uplifting his queen to greater heights.
While the "Fences" actress spends much time in the spotlight, Tennon works behind the scenes at JuVee Productions, the production company they started together to promote diversity in Hollywood's film industry.
Davis and Tennon's ability to work together is a testament to their unbreakable bond. The pair, who renewed their vows in 2016, know that a healthy relationship needs dedication, and they are willing to put in the work.
Last year, Davis told People that she and Tennon prioritize spending time together and have exciting ways of keeping the romance alive, including taking baths or soaking in the jacuzzi together. She added that "every day is like a date."
