Vanessa Williams' daughter, Jillian Kristin Hervey, gave the world one of the most memorable International Women's Day concepts. She shared top-of-the art pictures of herself posing with a huge python in a snake-printed dress.

The photos featured the 31-year-old Lion Babe member looking glamorous in a thin-strapped gown adorned with snake prints. The singer's long weaves braided backward into thin cornrows accentuated her makeover, adding an African aura to her flawless beauty.

In the first shot, Hervey appeared to be displaying the full length of the python draped over her shoulders. While the icon's arms supported the slithering creature, its tail hung loosely down to her knee, shadowed minimally by her extensive brown and blonde braids.

The raving beauty completed the fierce look with an epic headpiece, sporting over a dozen pseudo-serpents like the mythical Medusa. The second pic showed the star without the headpiece, this time putting the snake's head on display. She captioned:

"The story goes, we were tempted by the snake, ate the fruit, and destroyed the world. But we womxn are the fruit, we are the snake, we are the earth."

The songstress tried to explain the parallel between women and the serpent. She noted that women transformed stars into hearts and coiled their love around everything they touched.

Going further, Hervey declared her acceptance of her feminine side, which she tagged as "the Saviour," adding she was not afraid to do so. The star's subtle call for a transformation of the world's perception of women was met with a nod of approval from fans.

Hervey hoped the world would realize they were two different people with different strengths.

Hervey also lives up to her words, striving to become a representation of female success like her mom. Remarkably, both women have teamed up on various projects to push for the improvements of certain sectors of society.

One such project was their 2018 #KnockOutHeartDisease campaign. The mother-daughter duo appeared together on the front cover of the December 2016 issue of Essence magazine.

They proved beyond doubt that they had more than shared resemblance in common. On keeping up with her changing dynamics while following her mom's footsteps, Hervey once said:

"Now more than ever, I make sure that I am really making an effort to stay consistent with checking in with my spirit."

Despite her seeming connection to the legendary singer and actress, Hervey prefers to keep that part of her away from her career and the world.

Back in 2017, the Lion Babe groupie voiced her concerns about fans finding out she had a famous mom. According to her, she preferred having the world discover her and her talents without considering her relationship with the R&B icon.

That way, Hervey hoped the world would realize they were two different people with different strengths and learn to appreciate her for who she was.

Undoubtedly, the 31-year-old beauty's wishes came true. Today, she is on the path to becoming a celebrated female figure in the entertainment industry and the world at large.
