Mother of Tyler Perry's Son Gelila Bekele Shows Her Slender Model Body in an Airy White Dress

Tyler Perry's ex-partner and mother of his son, Gelila Bekele, took to her Instagram stories to show off her trim figure in an airy white dress.

Ethiopian-born model Gelila Bekele, who is also mother to Entertainment mogul Tyler Perry's son, shared a picture of herself slaying in a sheer white dress on Instagram.

The 34-year-old looked stunning in the short strapless gown which accentuated her slender figure. A black drawstring appeared to hang loosely over her slender shoulders and down to her back, contrasting with the color of the outfit.

Bekele posed sideways, with her arms crossed in front of her, right below her abdomen. Crowning the photo was the model's enviable locks styled into a top bun.

She also had a subtle smile playing on her lips, which seemed deliberate. The overall appearance made the mother of one appear fierce and beautiful yet delicate, proving her a talented model.

Bekele began her modeling career at nineteen, following her signing with Ford Models agency in 2006. She grew her career over time, featuring in several high-end campaigns, fashion magazines, and commercials.

She also pursued humanitarian projects, standing firm in her advocacy for the rights of young females to equal opportunities. Eventually, her path crossed with Hollywood legend Tyler Perry during a 2007 Prince concert.

The duo became an item in 2009, striving to keep the details of their relationship private. In 2014, Perry and Bekele became first-time parents, welcoming their son, Aman, in November that year.

He was going through a "midlife crisis," as a 51-year-old single man.

Although many looked forward to the nuptials of the two icons for a long time, the "Madea's Family Reunion" star set their pulses to rest. He once revealed in an interview that he doubted his abilities as a husband, and hence knew little about marriage.

Perry and Bekele dated for over a decade until their split late last year. Although the exact timeline of their breakup remains unknown, the producer and director took the world by surprise in December when he announced his single status.

Contrary to his usual privacy-conscious approach, the star shared the news on Instagram, disclosing he was going through a "midlife crisis" as a 51-year-old single man. He also shared concerns about what the next chapter of his life held.

Months prior, the couple seemed to be going strong, evidenced in some of their public appearances. As most may recall, Perry affirmed his "wonderful" relationship with his son's mother in April 2020.

The entertainment idol expertly avoided mentioning Bekele's name, but he admitted to being in a committed relationship with a wonderful woman.

Additionally, Perry reaffirmed that although they were unmarried, the said woman was getting her fair share of his vast empire. Who better fits the picture than the one woman who remained a pillar of support in his life for over a decade.
