The reality show “Alaskan Bush People” follows the Brown family as they try to survive life in the wild. Here’s a look at their real-life partners.
We love happy endings, and there is no greater love story than that of Billy and Ami Brown on the television show "Alaskan Bush People."
The couple met over 30 years ago and has since raised seven children in the bush and beyond together. Whether you believe this drama or not, the numerous fans all tune in to watch it every week.
Joshua Brown, better known as Bam Bam Brown, was extremely private about his relationship until November 2017, when he revealed the truth to the fans.
The lucky girl was Allison Kagan, a woman hired by Discovery Channel as a staff member. She worked behind the scenes, and since coming out about their romance, they have been open about it on social media.
Even though Alli did not show up on the family's Christmas Special, which premiered a month after their relationship was revealed, she is still very important to Bam Bam.
"Alli has stirred something inside me and made my soul wake up. I hope we can blend our lives together, and I can take her back to Alaska. She was the most beautiful young woman I had ever met," Billy previously said.
Unlike Bam Bam, Alli was raised in the city, but that sure didn't stop her from coupling with him to help with renovations on his ferry. If you watched their show, you'd remember that they loved fixing the boat together. He said:
"When I visited New York that summer, we were still just friends. The boat idea came to us when we were on the Staten Island Ferry. How cool it would be to have a space that large and also be on the water!"
Bam Bam is obviously over the moon with his girlfriend and said that he is blessed to have found her in this lifetime. He finds inspiration in both his mother and girlfriend and believes that love can conquer all.
Now Alli currently works as a field producer on "90 Day Fiancé" and "True Life," but we can already see signs of the couple's future relationship antics in their show.
Noah is one of the most controversial members of "Alaskan Bush People," although most of his scandals happened off-camera. However, when it comes to dating, Noah did it while recording and found the love of his life in Rhian Alisah.
"The happy couple chose to get married today because August 15th marks the two-year anniversary of the couple meeting in Hoonah." their official page announced. The wedding was very intimate and only had a group of 25 close friends and family attending.
When it comes to the eldest Brown brother, Matt, he has always been more reserved with his personal life, choosing not to reveal too much to his fans. Some rumors speculate that he is not only married but has two children.
Other fans believe that the children Matt has are with his former girlfriend, Heather. Furthermore, he was once caught wearing a wedding ring in a couple of shots on the show, increasing speculation.
Fans wished that he would just reveal the truth instead of keeping everything in the dark. However, his secrecy fuels the rumors that "Alaskan Bush People" is not a reality show but is a scripted series and that the Brown family does not truly live the life they pretend to on television.
Rain Brown accidentally – or maybe not so accidentally – posted a picture on her Instagram of her older brother and his girlfriend on Valentine's Day 2018.
Raquell Rose had been a friend of Gabe's and his family for a while, so fans were shocked that they decided to come out with their relationship after years of secrecy. After the photo was posted, Gabe was happy to open up about her. The pair are now married.
His brother Bear, the second oldest, had his first date on the show back in 2015 but never had an on-screen girlfriend.
Fans are always the first to spot these television icons, and he was seen walking with a girl in Alaska. This was, of course, shared on a Facebook page for all to see.
However, it is hard to say for sure that the couple is genuinely dating. There is also not a lot of information regarding who this mystery girl is.
While the 16-year-old does not seem to be dating anyone right now, she is the most open with her life on social media. There were even more rumors last year when she added a picture on her Instagram with a sweet caption.
Fans not only raised questions regarding her possible love interest but also talked about whether she might be interested in girls. That was not the first time that Rain was the victim of rumors after posting things on social media.
She continually adds images of herself with odd captions that people dissect way too thoroughly. Rain might not be ready to share the truth about her sexuality or her relationship status just yet.
Amora Jean, better known as Snowbird or just Bird, is the first girl in their family, and her name comes directly from her mother, Ami. She is very independent, likes to hunt, and can catch fish on her own.
There have always been certain rumors about an alleged boyfriend, but none have ever been confirmed. Since she has no known dating history, it was hard to pinpoint the truth. Reality stars have to be careful of their image because everything gets scrutinized by the public.
BILLY BROWN (THE FATHER)
Billy Brown is the patriarch of their family, and he grew up in Texas with an affluent upbringing. At the age of 16, he lost his mother, father, and sister in a plane crash after the private aircraft got caught in a storm.
Billy remained alone in their house. In a famous episode of their reality show, Billy revealed that he was played into being emancipated from the family and was left with nothing when they died.
Before he met Ami, he got married as a teenager and had two daughters. One of them, Twila, appeared in an episode of "Alaskan Bush People."
After that marriage ended, he wandered all over the U.S. He became a fisherman in the northern Pacific and ended up settling in Alaska, where he wrote biographies of his life. The producer of their show found those copies, and the rest is history.
AMI BROWN (THE MOTHER)
Ami is renowned for her gardening skills and growing her food, but she is also great at navigation and home-schooling her seven children. In their show, Ami has talked about her upbringing in a family of alcoholics, which is why she cares for her husband and kids so thoughtfully.
Additionally, she revealed that none of her other family members know where she is at any given time. The couple met when they lived in Texas and got married in 1979.
They first settled in Fort Worth, but none of them liked the 9 am to 5 pm lives and decided to escape from that monotonous routine.
In 1983, they went to Alaska and learned how to survive in the wild without modern life commodities because they got trapped on an island one time for 18 months.
Unfortunately, last year, Ami was diagnosed with lung cancer but recovered after a few months of strenuous chemotherapy and radiation treatments.
