Would you believe Sharon Stone was one of the few big celebrities who hadn’t become authors until recently? This week, the actress celebrated her very first book.
On Tuesday, actress Sharon Stone took to her Instagram account to share a short clip of her marking an exceptional milestone. The star was recorded as she unboxed copies of her new book.
The “Basic Instinct” actress couldn’t help but get emotional as she unpacked her work. The book titled “The Beauty of Living Twice” appeared to feature a black-and-white cover photo of the star.

Her mother, Dorothy Stone, 87, was on hand as the actress perused through her work in awe. Dorothy ended up being the first person to receive a copy of her daughter’s memoir.
The star’s French Bulldog Bandit also came through to honor the moment. The Pennsylvania-born actress patted her dog while joking how Bandit probably just wanted to try and eat the books.
As she admired her work in awe, a man named James walked in and was presented with the second copy of the actress’s work. He seemed quite impressed with the book as he looked it over.
Stone then celebrated her efforts by shouting with joy in the clip and writing in the post's caption, “I’m an author!” The actress' memoir will officially be released on March 30, 2021.
According to its synopsis, the book speaks about the star’s massive stroke that deterred her career; it also looks at her family and fame. Fans will get to read about how she rebuilt her life after being ill.
The actress also wrote about her career’s highs and lows, traumatic childhood, and humanitarian efforts. She also spoke candidly about raising her three adopted sons; two of whom she's bringing up alone.
Stone and ex-husband Phil Bronstein share son Roan, 20. The former couple was married for five years before their relationship ended in divorce in 2004; the actress later adopted sons Laird, 15, and Quinn, 14.
For her birthday, Stone received a sweet message from her “Basic Instinct” co-star Michael Douglas.
