'Fifty Shades of Grey' Actor Jamie Dornan's Father Jim Dornan Dies at Age 73 From COVID-19

"Fifty Shades of Grey" star Jamie Dornan lost his father Jim Dornan after the patriarch contracted COVID-19. The late obstetrician and gynecologist was 73 years old at the time of his demise.

Actor Jamie Dornan recently experienced a tragic loss after it was revealed that his father, Jim Dornan, passed away. The sad news was shared by Jim's colleague Nichola Rooney on Twitter via a statement that read:

"The great Prof Jim Dornan. One of a kind. His glass brimmed over. A true visionary."

According to her Twitter bio, Rooney, a consultant clinical psychologist, praised the late patriarch for being responsible for bringing clinical psychology to RMJH to help women. She concluded, sending her condolences to his family.

According to reports, the renowned obstetrician and gynecologist specialist was 73 at the time of his demise. Late Jim passed away after a battle with COVID-19. He was a devoted member of the Belfast trust from 1986 until 2012.

Jim was also the senior vice-president of the Royal College of Gynaecologists, serving for two years from 2004 to 2006. The medical expert also landed some acting roles like his famous son, with a feature in the ITV drama, "Marcella."

While the "Fifty Shades of Grey" actor hasn't publicly commented on his father's death, he has often spoken publicly about how he adores the deceased. In an interview, he revealed that his dad often helped him with acting tips.
