People: J Lo & A-Rod Reunite in the Dominican Republic after Shutting down Split Rumors

Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez reunited in the Dominican Republic after they shut down rumors that they were splitting up.

Rumors surfaced this past month that Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez had called it quits on their engagement. However, People reported that they just reunited in the Dominican Republic.

JLo is currently in the country filming her new movie, "Shotgun Wedding," while Rodriguez has been spending time and working in Miami.

People reported that Rodriguez flew to meet up with his fiancée on Sunday, and that they would be working through some issues over the weekend.

A source close to the singer revealed that she was excited to be reunited with her former MLB player fiancé. The source said to the outlet:

"Jennifer was excited to see him in person. They are really trying to figure things out."

According to the source, it had been a happy reunion between the pair, who got engaged in 2019. The following Monday, Rodriguez shared a photo of himself enjoying the Caribbean sea.

He shared a video of the sea and the resort on his Instagram story. In the video, he wrote that it was a new day and week. He tagged Lopez in the post and wrote onward and upward.

Hopefully, this is a hint that the couple is working through their rough patch. Many outlets and fans wondered if their apparent split was because of the rumors surrounding Rodriguez and "Southern Charm" star Madison LeCroy.

LeCroy had been accused of sleeping with a married former MLB player, so there was speculation that it was Rodriguez. However, a source stated that he does not know her and Lopez is not bothered by the rumors, as a source said:

"Jennifer isn’t bothered and doesn’t care about the Alex and Madison rumors. She thinks it’s outside noise and trusts Alex. She’s so in love with him."

The "Jenny from the Block" singer actually poked fun at and mocked the headlines that said she and ARod had broken up with a TikTok video, which she shared on Instagram, too.

The video shows screenshots of different headlines about the couple, while the song "Pretty [Expletive] Freestyle" by the rapper Saweetie played. Lopez ended the video by calling the headlines dumb.

She definitely used the mockery as an opportunity to shut down rumors of a split. Rodriguez also defended his relationship and said he was not single in a video when asked about his relationship.

Although the couple is working on issues together, it seems their relationship is going strong. Currently, both are just in separate countries working on their own projects.
