8 Times Royal Moms Sweetly Embraced Their Children in Public

Royal mothers dote on their kids often when making public appearances, from Duchess Kate to Meghan Markle; we look at their public demeanor with their kids.

Royal mothers have shown affection for their toddlers and infants in the public eye while gushing over them. Although they prefer to keep their lives private, they are frequently photographed, cuddling, and playing with their kids in public.

Not only are the moms smitten by them, but the little ones are also adorable and do the cutest things when in public. The first case being that of the Duchess of Cambridge and her youngest son Prince Louis.

DOTING ROYAL MOMS

According to Hello, the tot looked delightful Trooping The Color back in 2019. He reportedly cuddled up to his mother while pointing his tiny hand at the sky.

When it comes to the Sussexes’ only son Archie, he melted hearts during his parents’ interview with Oprah Winfrey. Baby Archie made a surprise appearance and gave his mom a huge hug before taking the ball-thrower from her hand and ran along.

Princess Eugenie, could not hold back her smile after welcoming her firstborn with her spouse, Jack Brooksbank. The 30-year-old shared her photo of a family portrait with Brooksbank holding their baby boy August, shortly after welcoming him in February.

Princess Sofia of Sweden also shared a photo of her newborn son back in 2016. She doted on her baby boy Prince Alexander in a tender mother-and-son portrait which was in monochromatic theme.

ROYAL MOTHERS KISSING THEIR KIDS

The moms also have been captured kissing their little ones over the years in public. Tara Tindell, gave her youngest daughter Lena a peck on the cheek during the 2019 Festival of British Eventing at Gatcombe Park.

According to the outlet, just two months after welcoming her first child, Markle reportedly made a surprise appearance with baby Archie at one of Prince Harry’s polo matches in July 2019. She gave him a tender kiss on his forehead as she carried him from the car.

On the other hand, the Duchess of Cambridge has a strong bond with all her three kids. In 2016, she melted hearts when she was spotted kissing Princess Charlotte's head during their appearance on Buckingham Palace's balcony.

ROYAL DADS SHOW AFFECTION TOO

Royal moms aren’t the only ones showing public affection for their children. Royal dads have also been snapped giving their sons and daughters kisses.

In May 2015, after Princess Charlotte's arrival, photographers took a snapshot of Prince William carrying his eldest son Prince George. He tenderly kissed his head as they headed to the Lindo Wing to meet his sister for the first time.

In 2013, Prince Charles and Prince William's younger brother Prince Harry embraced one another when they greeted each other at the Chelsea Flower Show. The Duke of Edinburgh rarely shows off his affectionate side, but in 2017 he and Prince Charles pecked each other on the cheek.

The royals don’t only show fondness for their kids, but they also seem to love children they meet during their royal engagements. Whether it’s embracing, interacting with them, or giving them high-fives, they sure know how to steal fans’ hearts.

According to the Insider, members of the royal family seem to love kids, and meeting them is part of the job. They are patrons of many charities that help children and their families.

Middleton knows how to put kids at ease, and so does her husband. Prince William is reportedly more into high-fives than handshakes when meeting young fans and even enjoys playing sports with them.
