Taylor Dee, a rising country music singer, was killed last week in a car crash that happened just outside of Dallas. Authorities believe she might have been under the influence.

At the time of the crash, Dee was not wearing a seatbelt and was thrown out of the vehicle. She was found a short distance away from the car and was taken to a local hospital, where she later died.
The crash also involved a second passenger, a 36-year-old man. He suffered only minor injuries and was released from the hospital a day after the tragic incident.
Though the investigation is still ongoing, the police reportedly revealed that there might not be any criminal charges made in relation to the crash.
To determine whether Dee was intoxicated at the time of the crash, the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office is currently doing a toxicology screening.
Speaking about the tragic incident, Linda Wilson, who is the Texas Country Music Association president, described Dee as a true talent with a passion for her music ad for people around her.
Wilson noted that for every of the country music singer’s performances, her talent was evident, and even more, the love she had for her fans was undeniable. She concluded by noting that the singer will be tremendously missed.
Chad Roland, a Nashville-based songwriter who was also friends with Dee, recalled some of their beautiful memories and added that the music world has suffered a significant loss.
In the wake of Dee’s death, a GoFundMe has been created. So far, a total of $13,015 has been raised out of the $15,000 expected to be raised.
Before her death, Dee was an up-and-coming country star and was doing quite well in her career. Her first single, “Buzz,” released in June 2019, enjoyed massive airplay across radio stations in Texas.
