Pink has expanded her family with a new furry member, and she is more than excited about it. Yesterday, the renowned singer took to Twitter to introduce the latest addition to her online community.
Pink shared a heart-melting photo of her kids doting on their new pet. In the image, big sister Willow, 9, donned adorable pink pajamas with love patterns as she sweetly hugged her brother Jameson who had on a black space-themed set.
The excited siblings hugged the wide-eyed black pup as they grinned for the camera. In the accompanying caption, the proud pet mom revealed the unique nickname she gave the canine, writing:
"Thank you to the @labellefdn for helping us rescue our newest family member, Habañero Mountain Guy Kadashi Hart. We love the work that you do #AdoptDontShop."
Pink and her husband Carey Hart adopted little Habañero from the Labelle Foundation in Los Angeles. Fans congratulated the "What About Us" crooner on her newest addition while lauding her advocacy for pet adoption.
Fans may recall that in 2018, [Pink] experienced a devastating loss when her longtime pet dog Nanni passed away.
Others gushed about the unique name chosen for the pet while sharing personal stories of their adoption process. Pink is no stranger to welcoming rescue puppies into her home and using her story to encourage others.
In 2019 while on her "Beautiful Trauma" tour, the 41-year-old adopted one of the rescue puppies that kept her company in Nashville. She shared a photo of Willow cuddling the cute pup at the shelter.
She explained that the Nashville Humane Association brought puppies to the show for them to play with, and she decided to adopt one of the pups. She named the dog Nash, which she noted represented a short name for Nashville.
Fans may recall that in 2018, the three-time Grammy Award winner experienced a devastating loss when her longtime pet dog Nanni passed away. Pink mourned the loss of the canine who has been with her since 2002 in an emotional, social media post.
Pink tied the knot to her professional Motorcross car racer husband in January 2006. They welcomed daughter Willow in 2011, with Pink revealing that she got the name from the willow tree that grew close to her home as a child.
At just 9, Willow is her mother's twin, not only in looks but in talent. The duo has often serenaded fans with singing clips. Jameson arrived in December 2016. Although he has Pink's music talent, he is more inclined to sports like Hart.
