Pierce Brosnan lovingly marked his mother Mary Smith’s 89th birthday over the weekend with heartwarming words. The iconic actor took to Instagram and shared a sweet picture of the matriarch.
Smith looked gorgeous in a simple, casual ensemble consisting of a cute nude turtle-neck sweater paired with blue jeans trousers. She held a glass jar with flowers in one hand and a bag in the other.

Her blonde hair was styled into a neat bob, and she posed by the door of her home. She smiled radiantly at the camera in celebration of her day. In the accompanying caption, her actor son wrote:
“Happy 89th birthday to my darling Mother May. You have given me the world with your love. All my love in return...Pierce xx.”
