Us Weekly: Gleb Savchenko & Estranged Wife Elena Samondanova Go on a Vacation with Their Kids

Gleb Savchenko and his estranged wife Elena Samodanova tried to make things more pleasant for their kids amid their divorce by going on a family vacation.

"Dancing with the Stars" pro dancer Gleb Savchenko and his wife Elena Samodanova are in the middle of a divorce, but that has not stopped them from spending time with their daughters, Olivia and Zlata.

On Tuesday, a source told Us Weekly that the estranged couple and their daughters are soaking up the sun on a family vacation in Cabo, Mexico.

According to the source, Savchenko was supposed to go on vacation with just his daughters. However, he reached out to Samodanova to join them, which she agreed to.

Samodanova's representative confirmed to Us Weekly that she and Savchenko are on vacation together with their daughters. However, the source made it clear that they are not back together, saying:

"They are trying to make things more pleasant for their daughters and handle everything as adults and no longer approach their issues with an argument."

Savchenko and Samodanova have been posting pictures from their family vacation since the start of April. In one snap that showed him wearing a Mexico hat, the pro dancer wrote, "Snuck away to paradise," and asked his fans to comment on their favorite things to do in Cabo.

He shared a sexy ocean video and joked that he was out in search of his Ariel, in a cheeky reference to the Disney animation, "Ariel (The Little Mermaid)."

Savchenko responded to Samodanova's divorce petition by making requests of his own.

Savchenko also posted a picture showing him and Olivia, 10, with a camel and another snap showing them riding a dune buggy. In the post's caption, he advised that long-lasting memories should be made.

Meanwhile, Samodanova also shared two selfies on Monday. In the post's caption, she asked her fans how they celebrated Easter. She also shared a stunning snapshot that showed her lying beside a pool, clad in a two-piece swimsuit.

Olivia photobombed the picture and was seen standing behind her mom, clad in a blue long-sleeved crop top and green swimsuit. Her parents called it quits last November amid rumors that Savchenko was romantically involved with his DWTS partner Chrishell Stause.

In December, Samondanova filed for divorce from Savchenko and asked for joint custody and spousal support. Also in December, Savchenko began casually dating Cassie Scerbo.

He went on a Mexican vacation with her, Stause, and her then-boyfriend, Keo Motsepe. Things looked to be going well in Savchenko and Scerbo's relationship, with the latter approving of his new haircut in a post he made on Instagram in January.

However, he took a break from their relationship in February to focus on his family. In March, Savchenko responded to Samodanova's divorce petition by making requests of his own.

He asked for joint legal and physical custody of their daughters and requested that Samodanova provides him spousal support and cover his attorney's fees. Though the estranged couple is not having the best of times, their focus remains on their daughters' wellbeing and happiness.
