Prince William & Prince Harry Issue Separate Heartfelt Statements after Prince Philip's Death

Prince William and Prince Harry have released individual tributes, describing their late grandfather, Prince Philip, as an extraordinary man and a banter legend.

In the wake of Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh's death, tributes have continued to pour in for the late royal, with the latest being from his most famous grandsons Prince William and Prince Harry.

Taking to Instagram, William shared a touching tribute, noting that his grandfather's life was defined by his tireless service to the United Kingdom, the Commonwealth, his wife, and the entire royal family.

Going further, William wrote that he is grateful to have had Philip guide him through the good and bad times, adding that he is also thankful his wife, Kate Middleton, got to spend time with the late Duke.

He concluded, calling Philip an extraordinary man from an extraordinary generation. William finished his tribute by saying that he and Middleton will continue to support the Queen in the coming years.

In his tribute, Harry called Philip a man of service who was authentically himself, possessing a sharp wit and charm that allowed him to hold the attention in any room he entered.

He described the late Duke as a rock for the Queen, noting that while Philip will be remembered by many as the longest-serving Queen consort, to him, he will always be his grandpa, the master of barbecue and a legend of banter.

Prince Philip passed away on Friday, April 9, at Windsor Castle. He was aged 99. He is expected to be laid to rest in a lowkey ceremony to hold on Saturday, April 17.

There, his closest relatives will pay their last respects as they say goodbye to the delectable Duke of Edinburgh, the beloved husband of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II.
