J Lo Shares a Sweet Snap Of A-Rod's Daughter Ella on Her 13th Birthday a Week after Their Split

“The Boy Next Door” actress Jennifer Lopez posted a sweet snapshot of her and her former boyfriend’s daughter Ella as she celebrated her 13th birthday.

Jennifer Lopez paid tribute to Alex Rodriguez’s daughter Ella on her birthday. The 51-year-old mom of two shared the snapshot in her Instagram Story.

The black and white photograph displayed Lopez and Ella warmly embracing. The songwriter captioned the image, "Happy Birthday, Ella Bella."

SWEET BIRTHDAY TRIBUTES

Rodriguez also wished his youngest daughter a happy birthday by reflecting on her upbringing over the years. The baseball shortstop posted a photo and video montage of himself, Ella, and her sister Natasha over the years.

His ex-girlfriend J Lo also made a brief appearance in one of the images. The 45-year-old penned a heartfelt message on Instagram to mark his child's big milestone.

The birthday tributes come after a week following the pair’s announcement that they were going their separate ways. Lopez and the retired MLB star released an exclusive joint statement announcing their breakup on April 15.

They called off their two-year engagement after being together for four years since 2017.

THE BREAKUP

Rodriguez and Jo Lo, the triple threat, highlighted that they would continue to be business partners on their shared projects and businesses writing:

"We wish the best for each other, and one another's children."

Reports of their breakup first circulated in March, but at the time, sources close to the pair revealed they had not officially broken up and were still together.

Ahead of their official statement, Rodriguez sent out a hint that there was already trouble in paradise just hours before their announcement.

The philanthropist shared an emotional video on his Instagram Story, which showed images and memories with the dancer throughout their relationship, set to Coldplay's famous love ballad "Fix You."

Rodriguez and J Lo are not the only pair who split up this year, as the list includes the powerhouse Hollywood couple Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, who were married for seven years.

Amid their divorce, Page Six exclusively reported that the reality star and the rapper are in settlement talks, in January. Although they tried to salvage their relationship, they decided to move on. Kardashian and West share four kids.

"Pitch Perfect" star Rebel Wilson, and Jacob Busch began casually dating before the pandemic hit and broke up in February. The former couple made their red-carpet debut at Prince Albert’s Planetary Health Gala in Monaco.
