Nick Carter Gives an Update on His Baby's Health after She Experienced Complications at Birth

Backstreet Boys star Nick Carter, 41, has taken to social media to update fans on his daughter's health after the newborn suffered complications at birth.

Last week, Carter asked for fans to say prayers and think good thoughts towards his family after announcing that he and his wife, Lauren Kitt, had welcomed their third child.

He revealed things did not go as planned as they experienced some minor complications but noted that things were looking a little better at the time.

The singer also shared an Instagram picture of himself in a surgical cap and scrubs and accompanied the image with a caption where he asked God to give his wife and baby strength.

In his new update shared on Twitter, Carter explained that he and Kitt are back home and are all safe and in sound mind. He also revealed that the newborn was doing a lot better and added: "I'm going to share a little picture with you really soon. Thank you again for all your love."

She was not supposed to be able to have any more kids.

Shortly after giving the update, several of Carter's fans and followers took to the comments section, sharing their excitement and happiness over the good news.

Carter and his wife first announced that they were expecting their third child in January, with a caption indicating that the pregnancy was a surprise to them.

The next month, Carter hinted at the risk involved in the pregnancy, writing that he was trying to keep their home peaceful and stress-free for his wife.

He continued the caption and noted that he never knew being a father would be the most important job of his life. Carter and Kitt also share five-year-old son Odin and 18 months old daughter Saoirse.

According to Kitt, she and Carter had been fully set on having a family of four and had made preparations towards that. As a matter of fact, she was not supposed to be able to have any more kids.

Therefore, it was quite shocking when she found out she was five months pregnant after their baby kicked. Though a surprise, Carter is nonetheless excited about being a new father again. No doubt the little one will be surrounded with plenty of love!
