Kelly Ripa Celebrates Anderson Cooper Son Wyatt's 1st Birthday with an Adorable Photo
Kelly Ripa and Andy Cohen paid tribute to Anderson Cooper's son, Wyatt's, first birthday: "Happy 1st birthday Wyatt!"
When Anderson Cooper turned 12 and realized that he wouldn't be having any children, knowing he was gay, the famous journalist ultimately felt upset. But years later, he was able to fulfill his dream of becoming a father after baby Wyatt entered his life.
Recently, the 53-year-old celebrated his son's first birthday with a sweet Instagram post featuring little Wyatt holding a big red balloon alongside several other throwback pictures of the celebrant.
The post came with a short caption as Cooper expressed how fast the year had gone by. "He is sweet and funny, happy and kind, and I love him more than I ever thought possible," the proud dad wrote.
Several stars and close friends of the journalist also paid tribute to the charming little one-year-old on Instagram, including actress Kelly Ripa. The "Live With Kelly and Ryan" star shared a snap of herself bending over to baby Wyatt, while he reached his arms out.
The throwback photo looked especially sweet as the infant had a big smile while Ripa looked at him in a particular way. The television host also revealed the unique nickname Wyatt calls her, "MeeMaw."
Ben seems to be an introvert who enjoys time at home, particularly playing with cars and trucks.
Ripa considers Wyatt's father one of her closest friends and previously honored him on his birthday with an Instagram post. Hence, it comes as no surprise that the actress treats Cooper's son just as special.
Another social media greeting for Wyatt came from Andy Cohen, another best friend of the CNN anchor. In his post, Cohen held baby Wyatt as he sat on the television personality's lap and fixed his gaze towards the floor.

The pair looked adorable in matching red, black, and white, plaid button-down tops and dark pants. "I love twinning with you," the "Watch What Happens Live" star wrote on his post. "XO Uncle Andy & Mr. Ben."
Cohen is father to his two-year-old son, Benjamin, who is best friends with Wyatt. Previously, the television personality revealed that he and Ben would visit Cooper on weekends for the kids to play.
Cohen has been the happiest with his son but noticed that they have different personalities. While the star is a talkative extrovert, Ben seems to be an introvert who enjoys time at home, particularly playing with cars and trucks.
Luckily, his friendship with Wyatt will bloom as the two grow and may become close friends as their fathers. It is certainly nice to see two successful men raising their children single-handedly.
