When a royal baby is born, the line of succession to the throne changes. The 32-year-old royal is currently ninth in line to the throne.

A change will occur again once the Sussexes' second child is born, making her the 10th in line. The first in line is her uncle Prince Charles, who is Her Majesty's firstborn.

The 72-year-old is followed by his eldest son Prince William and his three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

After the Duke's kids, it will be the Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry, followed by his two-year-old son, Archie, who soon will become a big brother.

While Princess Beatrice's nieces and nephews will ascend the throne before she does, there is another point to note, which includes a royal title regarding her unborn child.

Although the sex of the baby has not yet been disclosed, one thing is for sure; the little one will have a title. The reason for this being that their father has royal Italian lineage.

When Princess Beatrice tied the knot with Mozzi, her royal title changed as well. The couple wed in a secret ceremony in Windsor in July 2020.

The royal's previous title was Princess Beatrice of York, but she inherited a title from her spouse. She is now regarded as Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice.
