News of another royal baby on the way made headlines this week as Princess Beatrice and her spouse Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi announced they are soon to become parents.

The Royal family recently revealed the Queen is thrilled to learn that Princess Beatrice is pregnant with her first child with her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.

Their bundle of joy, due this autumn, will be the monarch’s 12th great-grandchild following the arrival of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's daughter.

When a royal baby is born, the line of succession to the throne changes. The 32-year-old royal is currently ninth in line to the throne.

A change will occur again once the Sussexes' second child is born, making her the 10th in line. The first in line is her uncle Prince Charles, who is Her Majesty's firstborn.

The 72-year-old is followed by his eldest son Prince William and his three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

After the Duke's kids, it will be the Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry, followed by his two-year-old son, Archie, who soon will become a big brother.

While Princess Beatrice's nieces and nephews will ascend the throne before she does, there is another point to note, which includes a royal title regarding her unborn child.

Although the sex of the baby has not yet been disclosed, one thing is for sure; the little one will have a title. The reason for this being that their father has royal Italian lineage.

When Princess Beatrice tied the knot with Mozzi, her royal title changed as well. The couple wed in a secret ceremony in Windsor in July 2020.

The royal's previous title was Princess Beatrice of York, but she inherited a title from her spouse. She is now regarded as Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice.

Following the news of her pregnancy, the royal couple stepped out on Wednesday for the first time. According to People, the pair were all smiles walking around London.

The princess glowed in a cranberry wrap dress which revealed her baby bump. She paired the outfit with a fitted black jacket and matching tights, and boots.
