Jedediah Bila Welcomed Her Baby at 40 — Other Personal Facts about the Former 'Fox & Friends' Anchor
TV host and author Jedediah Bila wasn’t sure about marriage or having children until she met Jeremy Scher at 36. Now, she’s been married for three years and is raising a boy.
Two-time Emmy-nominated TV host Jedediah Bila, best known for her time on “The View” and “Fox & Friends,” describes herself as a “superhero wannabe” and “goofball mom” on her website.
Bila grew up with her parents in Staten Island, New York, and got her B.A. in Spanish from Wagner College with a minor in business.

JEDEDIAH BILA’S CAREER
She then received her Master of Arts from Columbia University and taught Spanish, Creative Writing, and Improvisation. In 2009, she started writing political commentary.
Former President Barack Obama’s election inspired her to write about politics for young people. Bila explained that she wanted to remind the youth conservatism was their ally, not liberalism.
Her career skyrocketed in 2010 after sharing on her website her review on Mark Levin’s book “Liberty and Tyranny: A Conservative Manifesto.” Luckily for Bila, Levin read her review on-air and encouraged Sean Hannity to contact her.
She then appeared on “The Sean Hannity Show” and would keep showing up on MSNBC, Fox News, and other TV and radio shows to talk about everything from education and pop culture to health and politics.
JEDEDIAH BILA AFTER FOX NEWS
Two years later, Bila began working as a panelist on “Real News.” In 2013, she became a Fox News contributor. After three successful years, ABC hired her as the only conservative panelist on “The View.”
Unfortunately, Bila’s time on the show wasn’t as long as she would have liked as she left in 2017. She pointed out, though, that nothing negative happened between her and her co-hosts.
Apart from Jedediah Bila’s successful appearances on TV, she’s a talented author who has already released two books, “Outnumbered: Chronicles of a Manhattan Conservative” and “#DoNotDisturb: How I Ghosted My Cell Phone to Take Back My Life.”
Jedediah Bila made headlines again in May 2021 after leaving “Fox & Friends Weekend.”
JEDEDIAH BILA’S DATING LIFE
While Bila’s career has been nothing short of impressive, her dating life was always a sensitive topic. She once admitted people wouldn’t stop asking about marriage and children after entering her 20s and 30s. About it, she said:
“I honestly didn’t always want kids—for a very long time, it just wasn’t a path I saw myself on. I wasn’t even sure I wanted to get married!”
Everything changed when she was 36 years old and met Jeremy Scher. In 2017, Scher secretly asked Bila’s mom for help with his proposal, and she helped him choose the engagement ring.
He then took her for a relaxing weekend in New Hope, Pennsylvania. He popped the question in a private side garden with candles and a bottle of wine, and she said yes.
THEIR WEDDING
In February 2018, Jedediah Bila and her husband tied the knot at the Oheka Castle in Long Island. The TV personality admitted she initially thought she’d marry at her mom’s house but eventually fell in love with the castle.
Bila explained they wanted a winter wedding because he proposed during the summer, and luckily, it snowed during the ceremony. On November 15, 2019, Bila, 40, and Scher welcomed their first son, Hartley Luca.
Unfortunately, Bila announced in April 2020 that she and her husband tested positive for COVID-19 and were at home recovering. Their son didn’t get sick, and they weathered the virus with no consequences.
Jedediah Bila made headlines again in May 2021 after leaving “Fox & Friends Weekend.” She thanked her co-workers and viewers and admitted to being excited about her future.
