Niecy Nash Dons Fishnet Tights, Black Lingerie, and a Suit in a New Photoshoot with Wife Jessica
Niecy Nash looked stunning in a series of photos shared on Instagram, posing alongside wife Jessica Betts for the cover of The Advocate Magazine.
Actress and comedian Niecy Nash delighted fans on Tuesday with adorable excerpts from a photoshoot with The Advocate. The shots featured the star and her wife of almost one year, Jessica Betts.
While both women looked glamorous in the shots, Nash noticeably stole the show in her all-black ensemble. The 51-year-old rocked toe-length fishnet tights over her black lingerie and donning a black jacket over the eye-popping combination.
She paired the outfit with high-heeled sandals while holding on to a cue stick. Betts looked classy in black leather pants, a colorful shirt, and a pair of black loafers as she sat on a billiard table.
The next shot showed the couple posing in front of a large mirror in matching flame-print outfits. Another picture showed Nash posing in the all-black ensemble in front of the billiard table with her cue in place. Captioning the post, the star wrote:
"COVERED two Betts are better than one! Thank you @theadvocatemag for this honor #PRIDE issue #MarriedAF glam."
Nash and Betts announced their wedding in August. The revelation came as a surprise, as before that, the star, who had two previous marriages to men, never identified with the LGBTQ community.
Despite her kids' busy schedules, she found a way to bond with each of them without imposing.
During her appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" in March, the "Claws" star disclosed how she became caught in the throes of love with her new wife. She revealed they had been friends for about four years before the life-changing moment they went out to eat crabs.
While the LGBTQ community and Hollywood have been receptive to the icon's new identity, her family had a hard time accepting it.
Appearing on "Red Table Talk," Nash recounted how her mom initially kicked against the idea of their marriage but came to terms with it eventually.
She encountered a more subtle resistance from her three adult kids, who couldn't help but tease her about declaring herself "strictly dickly" in the past. However, since they were already familiar with Betts as their mom's longtime friend, they warmed up to their romance easily.
In 2015, the "Scream Queens" star discussed her relationship with her grown-up kids while coping with being an empty-nester.
She revealed that despite her kids' busy schedules, she found a way to bond with each of them without imposing. Her secret was dating each one separately and making efforts to have family meetups at her home at least once a week.
Giving her blossoming marriage to her newest partner, Nash certainly has more romantic business clustering her "empty nest."
