JONES IS A SINGER

Like his fiancée, Jones shot to the spotlight in the 90s as a member of the popular boy band, "Damage." With the group, he garnered several achievements, including having nine Top 40 singles.

But despite how talented the group was, most of their songs were written by other people, one of who was Wayne Hector, a friend to the boys.

Speaking on this during a 2020 interview, Jones explained that he and the other band members would have loved to write more, but they could not deny that there were great writers who would do a better job.

Jones admitted that if Damage had released more of their own written songs, they wouldn't have had as much success. According to him, the group will always be grateful for the amazing writers they worked with.

In 2001, Damage split, but it was not until 2014 that the band reunited. The famous group has remained together ever since.

 JONES IS A CHEF

After Damage broke up in 2001, Jones pursued a career as a chef. He detailed his experience in the food industry in his 2020 interview with Telegraph.

With Tate and Beau growing up right before their eyes, the couple seems to be planning towards a third child together.

Jones started out doing shifts at the Landsdowne in Primose Hill before becoming a sous chef. He has also worked at Claridge, Arbutus, and InterContinental.

He revealed that the pay was good but added that restaurant owners make more money in the food business than chefs who make the actual meal.

But for Jones, his decision to become a chef was never about the money—for him, it was all about the experience. Now the singer hopes to own a gastropub someday. It is a dream he hopes comes to fruition eventually.

JONES' BROTHER DIED IN 1997

In 1997, only four days before Jones' 17th birthday, his 31-year-old brother John Kennedy was stabbed at the Railway Arms pub in east London.

Naturally, Jones was left devastated, and even now, over two decades later, the singer still carries the pain of Kennedy's death around.

While it was difficult for Jones and his family to deal with Kennedy's death, they struggled more because no one was arrested or convicted for years.

In 2010, Kennedy's case was reviewed and referred to the Homicide and Serious Crime Command to reopen an investigation.

This was followed by an appeal for witnesses to come forward and speak out. Detectives on the case offered a £20,000 reward for anyone who had information that could lead to an arrest or conviction.

Still, no one came forward. Three years later, Jones appeared on Crimewatch, launching a fresh appeal for witnesses to come forward.

In 2014, he admitted that he and other family members were still grieving Kennedy's death, and the only thing that could ease their pain is justice.

JONES AND BUNTON STARTED DATING IN 1998

Jones met his future partner at a Spice Girls concert with the Damage boys. Bunton recalled the meeting being love at first sight for her.

The pair reportedly started dating in 1998 and were on and off for years before finally rekindling their romance and making it official in 2004.

Seven years later, Jones asked Bunton to marry him, and the pair have remained engaged ever since. Seeing that their engagement has lasted for years, the couple has often been plagued by marriage rumors.

When asked if they would ever get married during a 2014 interview, Bunton revealed she and Jones were not organized enough to plan a wedding at the time.

In 2019, a source reported that Jones and Bunton were set to tie the knot at London's Old Marylebone Town Hall, but the wedding is yet to hold. No doubt they will get around to it someday.

JONES IS A PROUD FATHER OF TWO

Jones' long-term relationship with Bunton has brought him many things— true love, happiness, and a beautiful family consisting of two sons.

The couple welcomed their first son Beau in August 2007 and soon welcomed another boy Tate four years later in May 2011. Bunton and Jones have enjoyed parenthood so far.

But despite their celebrity status, Jones and Bunton have managed to keep their sons' lives private and away from the spotlight.

Therefore, it is only fitting for fans to go wild whenever the couple decides to share glimpses of their two sons via videos or photos on social media.

When Beau turned 13 in August 2020, Bunton shared a close-up photo of herself posing with the teenager. She accompanied it with a sweet caption wishing him a happy birthday.

Barely a month later, the proud mom showed off her youngest son's long hair in a social media post that captured the nine-year-old opening a box of toys.

With Tate and Beau growing up right before their eyes, the couple seems to be planning towards a third child together. According to Bunton, Jones is desperate for them to have another baby.

The couple has created a wonderful life for themselves. With their decades-long romance and their two sons, these two have proved that sometimes, love is all it takes!
