Lisa Marie Presley Is Officially Divorced from Her 4th Husband Michael Lockwood Nearly 5 Years after Their Split

Rock superstar Lisa Marie Presley and her former husband producer Michael Lockwood called it quits years ago, and their divorce has recently been finalized.

Lisa Marie Presley is officially divorced from her fourth husband, Michael Lockwood, nearly five years after their split. Be that as it may, their lengthy court battle is still ongoing.

According to Us magazine, a judge granted a dissolution of marriage in the case on Wednesday, May 26. The bifurcated judgment allows the former couple to be deemed single despite the fact there are ongoing issues.

OFFICIALLY DIVORCED

The issues include child support, financial disclosures, alleged misappropriation of properties, and attorney's fees and costs, which have yet to be finalized.

Before the divorce was approved, Lockwood’s lawyer told the judge that his client “has no desire to stay married to this woman. He wants to move on with his life. He’s engaged to be married.”

News of his engagement to Stephanie Hobgood broke in December 2018. Presley married the 60-year-old guitarist in January 2006. They welcomed their twin daughters Harper and Finely, 12, in October 2008.

The singer-songwriter filed for divorce from Lockwood in June 2016.

According to Entertainment Tonight, Presley cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for their separation. She asked for legal and physical custody of their two kids, with monitored visitation for her now ex-husband.

These are Lockwood’s only children, while Presley also has another daughter and a son Riley and Benjamin Keough, from her first marriage to Danny Keough, which ended in 1994.

THEIR KIDS

Presley and Keough married in 1988 and later welcomed their first child Riley in May 1989. They welcomed their second child Benjamin in October 1992.

Sadly, in July 2020, the former couple suffered a huge loss as their son committed suicide at 27. A year later, reports circulated that the two grieving parents were living together during their time of grief. However, there was nothing romantic to the arrangement.

PRESLEY’S RELATIONSHIPS

Following her divorce from Keough, the doting mom found love again with her second husband, Michael Jackson. The pair were married from 1994 to 1996.

They never had any children together, and after their split, she moved on to musician John Oszajca. The pair were engaged sometime between 1999 and 2000. However, they broke up as Presley then met actor Nicholas Cage at a party in 2000.

They tied the knot in August 2002, but months after their nuptials, the movie star filed for divorce from Presley in November that year. Their divorce was finalized in 2004.

UGLIEST DIVORCES

Presley and her now former spouse are not the only pair going through a messy divorce. Reality stars Kristin Cavallari, and Jay Cutler announced their split via Instagram in April 2020.

Their separation turned ugly when Cavallari accused Cutler of inappropriate marital conduct in the divorce filing. As a result, the former NFL player requested joint custody of their three kids, but the actress sought primary physical custody.
