'My 600-Lb Life' Alum Charity Pierce Was Diagnosed with Cancer — Inside Her Life after the Show

"My 600-LB Life" star Charity Pierce has appeared on the show's spinoff "My 600 LB Life: Where Are They Now?" where she gave updates on her life after her stint ended.

Many fans got to see Charity Pierce struggle with her weight loss journey on "My 600 LB Life," and although it posed a big challenge for her, Charity's story came out with positive results.

Now the TV star has shed a significant amount of weight since leaving the show and has continued giving updates on her Facebook page. She would often post photos of herself showing her progress.

In one of her updates, the star had some sad news as she relayed that she was diagnosed with kidney cancer. Charity noted that she discovered her health status during Christmas and was devastated by it.

The TV personality recalled that her mom had died from brain cancer, and the state of her own health resulted in increased anxiety and several episodes of panic attacks.

The star swung into action, making sure to go for "millions of" doctor appointments and tests. The health workers later discovered that the cancer was only in one kidney.

The weight loss enthusiast did not let any of the sad news get to her. She continued her weight loss program with Dr. Nowzaradan, and so far, she has shed significant weight and is down to 265lbs.
