Queen and Other Royals React to Meghan Markle & Prince Harry's 2nd Child Amid Family Rift
Queen Elizabeth and other royals reacted to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's second child amid the ongoing family drama this weekend.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry welcomed their first daughter and second child, Lilibet Diana, on Friday, June 4, 2021. Despite the family's strenuous relationship, royal family members shared their reactions online.
The official Royal Family social media pages shared a gorgeous photo of Harry and Meghan at their wedding. Alongside the image, the caption stated that the family was delighted to hear the news of Lilibet's birth.

The post also noted that Lilibet is the Queen's 11th great-grandchild. Lilibet has a sweet connection to her great-grandmother, as her late great-grandfather used to call his wife of over 70s years Lilibet.
Harry's father, Prince Charles, the Prince of Wales, and his stepmother, Camilla Parker-Bowles, the Duchess of Cornwall, shared their own well wishes for the couple, alongside a photo of Harry, Meghan, and Archie during their tour of Africa.
Archie and Lilibet's grandparents sent their congratulations to the young family for the birth of their additional member. They wished the family well during this "special time."
Princess Eugenie, who welcomed her first son August Brooksbank this year, shared an Instagram story to celebrate the Sussexes' newest arrival. She posted the Sussexes' pregnancy announcement photo and congratulated her cousin with red-heart emojis.

Another royal family member to wish the second-time parents were Harry's brother, Prince William, and his wife, Kate Middleton, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, who wrote they were delighted and happy to hear the news.
According to a source from Us Weekly, the Cambridges were informed of the birth before the news broke out on Sunday, June 6, and sent the newest royal family member a gift.

The newest royal has many UK cousins who are probably excited to meet her sometime in the future, including William and Kate's three children, Princess Charlotte, Prince Louis, and Prince George.
Lilibet also has a few cousins who are similar in age to her. She is only a few months younger than her cousin August and will only be a few months older than Princess Beatrice's child, who is expected to arrive this summer.
Although little Archie and Lillibet might be missing their British family, according to the Daily Mail, the pair has enough celebrity tots to make play dates with and befriend around their home in California.
This Includes Meghan's good friend, Misha Nonoo's children, Leo and her daughter, who she will welcome later this year, and Harry's new friends Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry's daughter, Daisy Dove, to name a few.
