Mama June's Heavily Pregnant Daughter Pumpkin Finally Reveals Gender of Her Second Baby

An exclusive clip from the reality television series "Mama June: Road to Redemption" showed when Lauryn "Pumpkin" Shannon and her husband revealed the sex of their unborn child.

The moment a man and his wife discover the sex of their unborn child is always a memorable one filled with so many emotions.

That was exactly the case for Lauryn "Pumpkin" Shannon, her husband Joshua Efird, and their three-year-old daughter Ella Grace when they discovered the sex of their unborn child.

People obtained an exclusive clip from last Friday's episode of the WE tv series "Mama June: Road to Redemption." It showed Pumpkin and her family's reaction when they found out the sex of their baby.

In the clip, Ella told her unsuspecting grandmother June "Mama June" Shannon that she was getting cake despite the latter not wanting cake when she initially arrived for the special family moment.

Mama June asked why the cake was so special, and Pumpkin playfully explained to her that it had all the sprinkles and they made it.

Pumpkin, who is due to give birth in July, shared a cute photo of herself last month.

Pumpkin also told the camera that everyone would be shocked by the gender reveal. Afterward, she held the pan as her mother and daughter cut into the cake with a spatula.

Pumpkin's 15-year-old sister, Alana "Honey Boo Boo," noticed the cake was blue and asked why it was so. Pumpkin then prompted Ella to divulge the reason.

The adorable Ella delightfully announced to everyone that they made the cake blue for her baby brother. Following the tot's announcement, everyone was excited.

In April, Pumpkin, 21, revealed she and Efird were expecting their second child via a post on her Instagram page. Pumpkin shared pictures of her pregnancy tests and ultrasound and expressed her and Efird's delight in having another baby after three years.

Following the announcement, Pumpkin, who is due to give birth in July, shared a cute photo of herself last month that showed her flaunting her growing baby bump. She also joked about "hot mom summer."

Pumpkin and Efird's memorable gender reveal for their unborn baby adds to the long list of celebrity moms' most creative gender reveals. Hopefully, she will deliver safely in July and give her family more reasons to smile and hug each other.
