The Olympic gold medalist is one of the most successful gymnasts to have represented the United States at the Olympics. Raisman competed in the 2012 London Olympics and the 2016 Rio de Janeiro.

In 2016, Raisman was the oldest member of the Gold Medal winning Team USA at age 22. The star-studded team included gymnasts Simone Biles, Laurie Hernandez, Madison Kocian, and Gavvy Douglas.

Although the spotlight was on her younger teammate, Biles, Raisman made the captain of the renowned Final Five that won the team event in the 2016 Olympics.

Her leadership qualities became well known during the event at Rio de Janeiro as she would often scold her teammates for their failure to keep it down.
