WHO IS ZACHERY BRYAN?
Best known for his role as the oldest son in the long-running 1990s sitcom "Home Improvement," Bryan was born in October 1981 in Aurora, Colorado.
Over the years, he has appeared in a couple of other productions including "Slammed," "Fast & Furious: Tokyo Drift," and "Longshot."

WHO IS CARLY MATROS?
While Bryan was attending La Cañada high school, he met his high school sweetheart, Carly Matros. Their love story started great and inspiring and eventually led to marriage.
The high school lovebirds tied the knot in 2007. In 2014, the first two of Zachery Ty Bryan's children were born — their twin daughters, Taylor and Gemma.
Two years after, their third daughter, Jordana, was born, and in 2019, they had their fourth child together, a son named Pierce. According to reports, Zachery Ty Bryan's wife is a real estate agent who deals in selling high-end properties in California.

THEIR SURPRISING DIVORCE
While Hollywood divorces are not uncommon, news that Bryan's wife of 14 years was no longer with him came as a shock. The actor announced their divorce in a now-deleted Instagram post, in which he reflected on the incredible journey they had together as a couple and as parents.
The actor's girlfriend also alleged that he took away her phone when he saw that she was trying to dial 911 for help.
The actor emphasized that he and Matros intended to work together to co-parent their kids and remain dear friends.

GIRLFRIEND AND ARREST
Not long after Bryan's divorce's announcement came out, the actor was back in the eye of the media. This time, for assaulting his new 27-year-old girlfriend.
According to the woman, she and Bryan were arguing when he suddenly wrapped his hands around her neck and attempted to strangle her.

The actor's girlfriend also alleged that he took away her phone when he saw that she was trying to dial 911 for help. Bryan was charged with a felony charge of strangulation as well as two misdemeanor charges, assault in the 4th degree, and interfering with report making.
He pled guilty to "menacing — constituting domestic violence, and assault in the fourth degree — constituting domestic violence." Days after, he was released from Lane County Jail on $8,500 cash bail.
