Ree Drummond Looks Radiant in New Photos alongside Her 5 Children including 1 Who Is Adopted
Ree Drummond’s daughter Alex Drummond recently shared new nostalgic pictures from her wedding day, and her mother looked as beautiful as ever in the snaps.
Ree Drummond looked radiant in new photos alongside her five children, including one who is adopted. The images also featured her husband, Ladd Drummond and son-in-law Mauricio Scott and both his parents.
“FAMILY. The people who got us here today! We are so thankful to have such wonderful, loving, fun, supportive families,” Alex captioned her post.

FAMILY PORTRAITS
The 24-year-old's mother commented, "You and Mauricio are loved. Big time," while adding a heart emoji. Alex shared a series of photos from her big day wearing a white gown, holding onto her bouquet with her one arm wrapped onto her husband.
Next to the young couple were their parents on each side of them with their moms donning gray ensembles with their dads wearing black suits and white shirts matching with the groomsmen.
They also posed outdoors in front of a giant cross with multicolored flowers on it. Another snap showed Alex posing alongside her own family, with her sister Paige wearing a flowy dress holding a small bouquet.
The following picture displayed all her brothers Bryce, Todd, and their adoptive brother Jamar including Scott and his sibling.
One shot showed the bride smiling from ear to ear alongside her father, who gazed at her while on the porch. Alex’s dress was on full display as it revealed the lace details and a strapless design.
The newlywed was also pictured with her siblings, with her being the center of attention and her brothers and sister on each side.
Alex and her now-husband posed with his dad and relative, including sibling, and another photo showed the couple with Scott's mom and another relative in a blue suit.
THE WEDDING
Scott and Alex’s wedding ceremony was held at the ranch in Pawhuska, Oklahoma, in a location chosen by the father of the bride, Ladd. It was an optional black-tie affair.
She and her dad made their entrance while singer Travis Linville sang "Behold," their favorite praise hymn. The aisle was lined with a stunning array of flowers.
The bride and groom exchanged their vows before being pronounced husband and wife. “We wrote each other private notes that were our personal vows,” Alex shared.
During an exclusive interview with The List a month ago, Alex divulged how the wedding planning with her mother went. When asked how the experience was, she said:
“It was, honestly, very smooth sailing. There weren’t any moments where I feel like she was overstepping. It was all just very positive, and she helped me out a lot. It was great."
REE’S KIDS
Ree’s children have grown up since “The Pioneer Woman” show started. Alex is her oldest child who left the nest after high school to attend Texas A&M University, where she met her now-husband.
After graduating in 2019, she moved to Dallas, where she resides and works. Although she is far away from home and is now a married woman, she got to marry where she grew up.
Alex’s sister Paige, 21, is the second oldest of the Drummond kids. Paige is more than halfway through her third year at the University of Arkansas.
Bryce is the oldest of Ree and Ladd’s boys. The 18-year-old graduated high school one semester early. He played quarterback for the Pawhuska Huskies the past four years before moving on to the University of North Texas.
The baby of the family is Todd, 17. The teenager is wrapping up his junior year and is following in the footsteps of his older brother by playing quarterback for the Huskies.
ALL ABOUT JAMAR
There is also a new member of the family, and that is Ree’s adoptive son Jamar. The 18-year-old joined the Drummond family more than a year and a half ago.
He and Bryce are just a month apart in age and played football together at Pawhuska High School. Although the youngster has experienced a tough life, Ree says he is smart and has a hilarious laugh.
The 52-year-old blogger wrote about him on her blog and said he is an “inextricable part of our wacky family.” Ree also described Jamar as a "bodacious, bright, brilliant bonus kid."
In May, the food writer raved about her foster son after he graduated from high school. Ree posted a picture on Instagram of Jamar ahead of his high school graduation.
He smiled for the solo photo while standing beside a decorated poster board with an array of pictures attached wearing a University of Central Oklahoma T-shirt. Jamar will play football for the university in the fall of 2021 semester.
Earlier this year, his foster mom revealed that he would be attending UCO and shared how proud she is of him and is grateful for his friends, coaches, and community for supporting him.
In an excerpt from her book "Frontier Follies," Ree revealed she and Ladd became foster parents a year-and-a-half prior. She explained Jamar's circumstances presented themselves to them in a way they could not ignore.
The Food Network star added fostering was not something that she had considered before but had a change of heart after her spouse met Jamar during high school football practices in their hometown.
