However, during the ceremony, the 90-year-old actress had a scary moment that worried her fans and those who attended the ceremony.

While giving a speech at the unveiling of her star at the Walk of Fame, Marla suddenly paused and seemed like she was about to faint. Her son quickly rushed towards her to prevent her from falling.

Later, Marla's daughter, Angela Gibbs, grabbed the microphone and announced that her mom needed some time to cool down. It was quite understandable as the temperature in Los Angeles rose past 90 on Tuesday.

Marla eventually returned to the stage after recovering. She told ABC7 that she never thought the incident would happen. The comedy legend could not resist adding some comic relief as she also said, "I just got overwhelmed for a minute. I haven't been excited until this moment."

Marla expressed gratitude towards every person who graciously came out to support her at the post-event.

Meanwhile, Marla's representative told People that she has recovered and is doing well. The rep further said the veteran actress was overwhelmed with all the love and support she received and got overheated. The rep added

"She just needed a few minutes to cool down. She is so full of gratitude and doing well now."

Many of Marla's fans, family members, friends, and colleagues graced her Walk of Fame ceremony. Famous producer Norman Lear, who created "The Jeffersons," also attended the event.

During her speech, Marla paid tribute to Lear and revealed no one would know her name if not for him. Lear also paid tribute to her by describing her as a glorious person, performer, and actress, who made him laugh in parts of his body he never knew existed.

Marla shared pictures from her Walk of Fame ceremony on her Instagram page. One of the pictures she shared showed her sitting behind her star at the Walk of Fame and holding her certificate.

The actress was all smiles as she posed for the snap. She looked all shades gorgeous in a red floral dress. She also rocked a full black hairdo. Another picture Marla shared showed her friends and Hollywood stars who were present to support her at her ceremony posing for a sweet snap.

They include Tisha Campbell, Regina King, Kim Whitley, Vanessa Bell Calloway, Anthony Anderson, Sherri Shepherd, and Freda Payne. In the post's caption, Marla wrote
