Leland Chapman Unfollows Wife Jamie on Instagram and Moves Back to Hawaii from Alabama
Leland Chapman has stopped following his wife, Jamie Pilar Chapman, on Instagram, raising the prospect of a split, especially since he's moving back to Hawaii from Alabama.
Among the latest things Leland Chapman did was unfollow his wife, Jamie Pilar Chapman, whom he married five years ago, on Instagram. It appears Jamie expelled Leland from her following list as well.
On July 24, Leland shared with his followers that he's going back to the place it started and tagged Kona, Big Island, Hawaii in the post. Meanwhile, according to Jamie's recent snap, she is still in Alabama.
A fan commented on Leland's post asking if he would move to the Big Island now, to which he replied that that was the situation. When asked by another follower how long he will stay, the star replied:
"I'm not sure yet, but it's starting to look like for good."
In the meantime, some fans talked about his appearance. According to a fan, he looks more and more like his father, Duane Chapman, as he grows older. Someone else said he looked handsome, just like his famous dad.
In 2016, Leland and Jamie became husband and wife. Instagram was his first method of expressing love to Jamie, a tattoo model. In addition to modeling since 13, Jamie has also worked as a police dispatcher.
In 1994 and 2002, Leland was married to Maui Chapman. They share two sons, Dakota and Cobie Chapman. Leiland's daughter Leiah Breanna Chapman was born from a relationship with Lynette Yi.
Leland and Jamie regularly appeared on the spin-off show "Dog and Beth: On the Hunt."
Back in September, speculation ran rampant that Leland and Jamie were no longer together. The assumption had been sparked when the latter made a series of cryptic remarks on social media.
As she mentioned in her post, Jamie was tired of all the drama, not being good enough, and life in general. But Jamie said she doesn't want to seem dramatic, weak, or attention-seeking, so she hides it all from everyone.
Prior to that, Jamie had stated in another post that in case you have to beg someone for something constantly, or if you have to keep telling them how they should treat you, it's best to walk away.
MOVING TO HAWAII
In 2012, Leland left the show "Dog the Bounty Hunter." Following his exit, he owns and operates a bail bond business, Kama'aina Bail Bonds, on Hawaii's Big Island and runs his dad's firm, Da Kine Bail Bonds, on Oahu.
Leland, who started training in boxing and mixed martial arts at age 17, moved from Hawaii to Alabama in 2015 and lived with Jamie. Last year, he sought medical attention after being injured during a chase.
In Colorado, Leland and his father chased a suspect accused of domestic violence that led to an altercation. After the incident, Leland described feeling like he was walking on the sand due to tearing a ligament in his knee.
Ten months later, his father Duane was engaged to his fiancée Francie Frane. Despite his very public comments about grieving after Beth's death, Duane credited Frane with helping him, and his children heal.
In an interview, Duane said it was just a matter of having a Frane beside him to help him make it. For his children, Frane is always there for them. She is not their mother, but she has helped a lot as a mother, Duane said.
