Man Takes Revenge on Package Thieves with Fake Shots, the Result Is Hilarious
An intelligent man assembled the best prank for thieves who attempted to steal his packages. The footage of the frightened perpetrators had the internet laughing.
Laughing at other people’s misfortunes isn’t nice, but it becomes somewhat hilarious when the person is a thief caught in the act.
Recently, a viral video had viewers laughing as footage of thieves getting pranked surfaced on the internet. With nearly 50 million views, the slip sends out a simple message -- don’t steal.
Tacoma, Washington resident Jaireme Barrow came up with a brilliant idea to scare off strangers who attempted to steal the packages at his front door. His plan came after a few thieves took the Jeep parts he previously ordered.
With the use of a 12-gauge shotgun blank, a small plate, a wooden box, a fishing line, an aluminum carrying vessel, a cardboard box, and bricks, Barrow built what would become a hilarious prank.
His creation was engineered to fire blank gunshots when thieves attempted to take packages placed at his front door.
The footage first captured a man dressed in a hoodie walking across Barrow’s front lawn. As soon as he picked up the package, a loud gunshot fired and caused him to fall flat on his face while running.
A person stole around $50 to $100, leaving the kids distraught.
Next, a woman who came out of a car walked towards Barrow’s porch in an attempt to steal the package, but as soon as the blank gunshot fired, she retreated inside the vehicle and left.
The following perpetrator, another female, brought two males who acted as guards. After deciding to take the window of opportunity, the woman went for the package on Barrow’s front door.
But like the previous thieves, the loud noise scared her off and made her fall to the ground while running away. Meanwhile, her companions casually looked back to see what happened to her.
The final man caught stealing stepped out of his car to get Barrow’s belongings. In a black shirt and a cap, the big guy slowly walked towards the porch but immediately ran back to his vehicle after shots were fired.
The viral clip was met with angry people who could not stop laughing at the thieves. Although some of them physically got hurt, it was difficult to say they didn’t deserve it. One comment read:
“The amount of people who just walked up to his porch without any hesitation like they own the [expletive] place is honestly sickening.”
Meanwhile, another viewer did not hide his emotions and said he “loved” the video. “These people literally look like they came by for their morning coffee,” another wrote. “Pulling up their cars like that.”
Some thieves are more ruthless than others, including a thief who stole from nine-year-old twins Katelyn and Elias Smidt.
The siblings set up a lemonade stand and accumulated tips from customers. Sadly, a person stole around $50 to $100, leaving the kids distraught. After hearing their story, the local police officers went above and beyond to help the children.
