'Riverdale' Star Vanessa Morgan Posts Throwback Pic of Costars Visiting Her Newborn Son – Meet Baby River

“Riverdale” actress Vanessa Morgan posted a cute throwback photo of her co-stars meeting her baby boy. She learned about her pregnancy one month after splitting from her husband.

Vanessa Morgan, also known as Toni Topaz in the hit teen drama series “Riverdale,” shared an adorable photo on her Instagram Stories that proved how close she and her co-stars are.

In the pic (found at the bottom of the article), actor KJ Apa held River, Morgan’s now-six-month-old son. Camila Mendes, who also stars in the TV show, was next to them, flashing her smile at the camera.

Morgan tagged Apa and wrote that he would be holding a baby in his arms “real soon.” It is important to point out that Apa and his girlfriend, Clara Berry, are expecting their first kid.

In July 2020, Morgan surprised her followers by announcing that she was pregnant. The baby news was wildly unexpected because she and her husband, Michael Kopech, had just parted ways.

Kopech filed for divorce in Texas in June, and when the actress revealed her pregnancy on social media, he was not included in any of the photos or videos.

Still, Morgan admitted that her baby made her grow and gave her strength. She added that she couldn’t wait to dedicate her life to be the “best mommy” possible.

The “Riverdale” family keeps growing!

River was born on January 29, 2021, and despite their split, Morgan included Kopech in her announcement. She wrote in an already-deleted Instagram post:

“We are enjoying this time home with him, being present and giving him all the lovin in the world. Becoming parents is the most rewarding gift in the entire world” [sic].

Coming back to Apa and Berry’s relationship, the first rumors about him being in a relationship hit the internet in December 2019 when he appeared in Wired’s “Autocomplete Interview” and said that he was “very much in love.”

In August 2020, he posted nude pics of Berry while vacationing together. Since then, they have been posting cute photos of each other on social media, but they attracted the most attention in May this year after announcing her pregnancy.

Apa shared a photo of himself and Berry resting on a couch, and her growing baby bump attracted all looks. Berry then posted more maternity shots, and he wrote in the comments, “she’s pregnant btw.”

So far, neither Apa nor Berry has revealed when their kid will be born, and it is fair to say that Morgan will be pretty helpful during the first few months. The “Riverdale” family keeps growing!
