Little Mix Star Perrie Edwards Shares Two IG Pics of Newborn Child with Soccer Player BF Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

Perrie Edwards recently thrilled her fans by uploading the very first peeks of her firstborn child. The child is the singer and her boyfriend, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s first one.

On Saturday morning, Little Mix’s Perrie Edwards took to her personal Instagram account to share some fantastic news! She revealed to her fans that her baby had been born on the same day.

The star gave her fans a sneak peek by sharing two black-and-white photos of the newborn. The first image showed the baby holding their face, which wasn’t visible in the post.

The second photo showed the child’s tiny foot balanced in Oxlade-Chamberlain’s hand. The soccer player also shared the news of his child’s arrival by sharing an image of both their hands cradling their newborn’s foot.

This is the first child for both Edwards and Oxlade-Chamberlain. The pop singer announced her pregnancy in May 2021 with a post showing off her baby bump alongside her boyfriend.

In the post, the athlete cradled his girlfriend’s baby bump with Edwards confessing that she was happy to be on the journey with her soulmate. She also said she couldn’t wait to meet her baby.

The pair were first rumored to be dating in November 2016 before going public with their romance in January 2017. They became Instagram-official a month later.

At the time, the singer uploaded a photo of her kissing her man in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris. Besides the announcement of the birth, Edwards also has a new release to look forward to.

The Little Mix musician said the group would be dropping a new album titled “Between Us.” The album will feature previous tracks and some new songs and will be out in November 2020.

The month chosen for the release happens to the band’s celebration of their 10th anniversary. Before Edwards started seeing Oxlade-Chamberlain, she dated former One Direction singer Zayn Malik.

The former couple was together for four years before separating in 2015. In Little Mix’s new book “Our World,” the pop singer revealed that Malik allegedly broke up with her via a text message.

At the time, the pair were also engaged to get married. Edwards confirmed in the book that she struggled with the breakup even though things were going well for her career-wise.

She shared how she healed from the separation by having sleepovers with her girlfriends. The Little Mix women cheered her up by getting her favorite desserts and did everything they could to keep her spirits up.
