Chrissy Teigen Opens Up about Not Properly Processing Her Miscarriage in Recent Instagram Post
The “Lip Sync Battle” star was reminiscing about the good old days between her and her then-boyfriend John Legend when she mentioned that she has not fully come to terms with her miscarriage.
In a lengthy post on Instagram, Chrissy Teigen told her 35.1 million followers about her previous life in New York City with her now-spouse John Legend. She reflected how they have been going to the Frank Restaurant for years.

“We’ve been going to @frankresturant for …man, maybe 13, 14 years now?? We used to live a couple of blocks away right across from the hell’s angels in the east village,” she wrote on Sunday, August 22, alongside a photo of herself and Legend having dinner at the restaurant.

REFLECTING ON THE PAST YEAR
Teigen shared she used to go there every Thursday and explained, "Thursday was lasagna verde day – a bubbling, piping hot dish of cheesy lasagna with the toastiest edges you could ever wish for."
The television personality listed everything that she used to do while living in NYC and further explained why she brought up the subject.
Teigen shared the reason why she is reminiscing so much about the city is that she has been thinking about the place as of late, adding:
“When things were simple, thinking about all the stuff I’ve been through not just this year but in my life. I’m slightly down lately.”
The 35-year-old shared it all began she was thinking of her book caption and typed out “my third baby is here!!” referring to her actual cookbook.
“Then realized my third baby would never be here. Then I realized I threw myself into the book to not think of the real, actual, third baby," she shared while adding:
"I don't really feel like I fully processed Jack, and now that I don't have alcohol to numb it away, things are just…there waiting to be acknowledged."
IN MEMORY OF JACK
Teigen revealed recently that she dedicated her third cookbook to her late son Jack and shared the dedication page from “Cravings: All Together: Recipes To Love.”
According to People, the book hits the shelves on October 12 and features the words "For Jack" surrounded by macadamia nut cookies.
SUFFERING A LOSS
Teigen revealed last September that she suffered a miscarriage just days after being hospitalized for bleeding issues after becoming pregnant with her third child.
The “Cravings” author had announced she was expecting last August. She suffers from endometriosis and revealed in December last year that she would “never” be pregnant again.
The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue model and the Grammy Award winner Legend got married in September 2013 and share daughter Luna Simone, 5, and son Miles Theodore, three years old, both of whom they conceived via IVF.
