Mom Finds Armed Burglar in Child's Bedroom, Doesn't Get Scared but Kicks Him Out of the House
A mom proved herself a pillar of bravery by single-handedly defending her home after discovering a burglar in her child's bedroom. The footage of the incident has gone viral on social media.
The video of a brave mom who put herself on the line to ward off a house burglar is making the rounds on the internet. The news outlet Liverpool Echo shared the clip on their official Twitter account, earning the heroic woman bouts of commendation.

The woman sprung into action immediately, taking out her camera to record the situation as she chased the man out of her property.
In the video, the woman could be heard screaming, "get out of this house, you scumbag," as she fixed the camera on the man's retreating form.
As he was being chased away, Cotton turned around at intervals to offer an explanation, but the woman seemed uninterested, intensifying her angry reprimands.

At some point, Cotton tried excusing his behavior, saying he drank excessively and went the wrong way. After successfully getting him off her property, Cotton demanded to know what he had in his carrier bag, also prompting him to show his face in the video.
The suspect pleaded guilty to aggravated burglary, which landed him seven years and six months imprisonment.
She also screamed for the neighbors to notify the police. Cheshire officers explained that when they arrived at the property, the burglar was long gone.

However, they found him near a cemetery on the Orme the next day and took him into custody. Officers found two knives in his possession, a stolen watch, and pawnbroker tickets for other properties.
Court documents also show that Cotton had 15 previous convictions for house burglaries and outstanding allegations for stealing jewelry and watches worth £7,000 from a home in Great Orme.
The suspect, who had been recently released from jail, also faced charges for stealing a wallet, a TV from a caravan in Cheshire, and other items from the town's Grand Hotel.
During a court hearing on August 16, the suspect pleaded guilty to aggravated burglary, which landed him seven years and six months imprisonment.
The video racked thousands of views across social media platforms, with netizens commending the homeowner's bravery. Some noted that they would have adopted more drastic measures were the burglar to break into their own home.
One person wrote on Twitter: "Tell you what. Lucky he wasn't in my house because I would have taken the knife off him and stuck it in his neck. Little rat."

The Cheshire mom's bravery and quick instincts in the face of danger was indeed commendable, especially as it led to the capture of a serial burglar that had posed disturbance to the residents on the Orme for years.
