Woman Smokes Cigarette on a Spirit Airlines Flight, Cops Come for Her

Passengers laughed and made snide remarks as a woman who chose to smoke up the airplane finally faced the terrible consequences of her incredibly selfish actions.

A woman nonchalantly decided to light up a cigarette and smoke it on a Spirit Airlines flight in a confounding moment. Eventually, with a plane full of disgruntled passengers, the cops came to get her.

A TikTok user going by Alexa Majdalawi or @heyalexa_nah shared two videos of the incident. The first clip was of the lady blatantly smoking on the airplane during what looked to be at night.

An individual who appeared to be the TikToker herself kindly asked her fellow passenger if she would refrain from smoking on the plane. The overlay text on the clip read:

"This woman lit her cigarette on the runway when we landed. This is what happens when you fly with Spirit."

There was a divide in the comment section regarding the TikTok user's reproval of the airline. Some asserted that it was not the airline's fault, while others agreed with Majdalawi's disapproval.

The other video showed cops arresting this lady as passengers looked on and others recorded with their phones. Once again, the TikToker criticized the airline in the overlay text:

"Only on a spirit flight: girl lit up an actual cigarette on the plane in her chair."

The cops walked up to the culprit. They kept coaxing her to leave her seat, which she declined to do for some time but eventually acquiesced, walking away with the officials.

An individual on the plane spoke quite loudly where she complained and gave suggestions to the cops on how the situation should be handled. One cop turned to her assertively and told her not to inform him how to do his job.

They suspected that she was involved in human trafficking.

Many in the comment section lambasted the cop displaying a purportedly aggressive attitude with this passenger while he remained calm with the actual transgressor. They implied it was because this passenger was black while the other white.

While it was suggested that this cop was racist, Lakeyjanay Bailey experienced what many may deem as a more outright example of discrimination while on a flight.

Upon witnessing Bailey with her 4-year-old white adopted sister Olivia, a fellow passenger on a Frontier Airline flight, reported her concerns. Officers were waiting for her at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport.

They suspected that she was involved in human trafficking. Unlike the smoker, the 21-year-old did not get arrested but was, sadly, still left in tears.
