Sharon Stone Mourns the Loss of 11-Month-Old Nephew with Heartbreaking Video
“Basic Instinct” star Sharon Stone had been asking for prayers for her 11-month-old nephew River. He sadly passed away, and she is mourning him with a heartbreaking video.
Sharon Stone may be one of the most successful actresses in Hollywood with a career spanning over four decades, but she has faced her fair share of challenges in life.
In 2001, for example, the “Casino” actress suffered a life-threatening stroke that forced her to take a two-year break from the entertainment industry.

Stone survived, fortunately, but she needed about seven years to recover fully. Apart from that, people treated her “brutally unkindly” during that time.
During an interview with Oprah Winfrey, Stone revealed that other women in showbiz and the judge handling the custody case of her son Roan mistreated her.

Apart from that, she confessed the stroke took away her “radiance,” describing it as a magnetism or presence that comes from health, well-being, youth, and confidence. Stone added:
"I think that when you're in this kind of business that you're in, they start telling you that you don't have it anymore and you start believing it."
Now, Stone is facing another hardship in her life: the death of her nephew and godson River. On August 27, she uploaded a tear-jerking photo of 11-month-old River intubated in the hospital.
River’s passing is the third death Stone has faced in 12 months.
In the caption, Stone explained that he had been found in his crib with total organ failure and asked her followers for prayers as the boy needed “a miracle” to survive.
Tasha, the kid’s mom, also explained that River was rushed to the hospital and was in a coma and “not doing so well,” so she also urged everyone to “pray hard.”
Unfortunately, River died on August 30, only nine days away from turning a year old. Stone uploaded a heartbreaking video of the joyful boy while Eric Clapton’s “Tears in Heaven” played in the background.
River’s passing is the third death Stone has faced in 12 months as her grandmother and godmother died of coronavirus in August 2020, too. May they rest in eternal peace.
