WWE Gives Health Update on Paul 'Triple H' Levesque Following Cardiac Arrest
American professional wrestler Paul Levesque recently experienced a health scare but managed to fight for his life following a medical procedure to have the situation contained.
Paul Levesque, affectionately known as "Triple H," underwent a surgical procedure after he suffered a heart attack as of late and is reportedly recovering.
WWE issued a statement on their official website on Wednesday, September 8, concerning his health status, explaining how the operation went.

“Paul Levesque underwent a successful procedure last week at Yale New Haven Hospital following a cardiac arrest,” the statement read while revealing what caused it:
"The episode was caused by a genetic heart issue, and Paul is expected to make a full recovery."

Levesque is a former multi-time WWE Champion who is currently Executive Vice President of Global Talent Strategy Development and a COO.
The “WWE Raw” star is also the founder and executive producer of "NXT,” which initially had a one-hour show on the WWE Network.
The show was moved to USA Network in October 2019 with a weekly two-hour show on Wednesday evenings. In April 2021, they moved it to Tuesday nights.
The 52-year-old’s last match in WWE occurred during WWE's Japan tour in 2019, and his previous televised match happened at WWE SuperShowdown against opponent Randy Orton in June 2019.
During a SummerSlam weekend appearance on the Colin Cowherd Podcast, Levesque was asked if he would return to the ring, and he said if only his fans want him to and that it should be intriguing for him to return.
He added that the only challenge he may experience is fitting in enough time to train into his busy schedule. In addition to making a possible return to WrestleMania, he wants to travel the world.
The New Hampshire native shared he desires to go to places worldwide where he has 25-plus years of history and wrestle one more time before retiring.
Levesque is a fourteen-time world champion in WWE. He wedded WWE chief brand officer Stephanie McMahon, and the pair have been married since 2003. They are parents to three daughters.
