Us Weekly: Denise Richards & Ex Charlie Sheen Not Co-parenting Daughter Sami after Move to Dad’s Home

Reports have revealed that Denise Richards’ oldest daughter, Sami Sheen, moved out of her mother's home and now lives with her father, Charlie Sheen. Sources say Charlie isn’t co-parenting Sami.

This month, Sami Sheen, 17, took to TikTok complaining about being in an abusive environment. At the time, the teenager was allegedly living with her actress mother, Denise Richards, 50.

Sami later revealed she was in a better space and had moved out of the home. Reports stated she's currently living with her father, Charlie Sheen, who is no longer married to Richards.

Sheen, 56, and the actress separated in 2005 while Richards was expecting their second daughter, Lola, now 16. The famous couple’s marriage finally ended in divorce the following year.

An Us Weekly insider has since explained that Sami moved out of her mother’s home because she was a rebellious teenager. The source said it would’ve been better if her parents co-parented her during this period, but this is not the case.

With Sami currently living with her father in his Malibu apartment, the insider said Lola, who lives with Richards, still gets to see her older sister.

The middle child would stay with either parent when her mother was working like at the current moment. The actress also has a third and younger daughter, Eloise, 10, who she adopted when she was single.

Her wish for her daughters, according to the source, was for them to have boundaries and not go out gallivanting all hours of the night. Richards allegedly didn’t desire to be friendly with her children.

She reportedly felt that time would come when her daughters were older. The informant noted how Sheen was more lenient and didn’t have set curfew rules, and that’s why Sami chose to live with him.

Speaking through his publicist, Jeff Ballard, Sheen described his daughter as “amazing.” He explained that he loved all his children and enjoyed themselves as they went through GED preparations.

Sami allegedly dropped out of high school at some point. In her TikTok video, she claimed last year she felt trapped, hated herself, was depressed, hated school, and would go days without sleeping or eating.

A People source confirmed that Sami lived with the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star in 2020. Richards set normal rules that caused a fallout between her and Sami because she didn’t want to follow them.

Sheen reportedly didn’t support his ex-wife in asserting those rules because he has a different parenting style. The insider said Richards was saddened by this whole situation.
