Vanessa Bryant Will Be Honored with Giving Tree Award This Fall at Baby2Baby Gala

Vanessa Bryant will be named this year’s honoree for the prestigious award after being an ambassador for the non-profit organization for quite many years.

Baby2Baby announced on Instagram on Tuesday, September 21, that Vanessa Bryant is this year's recipient for the Giving Tree Award writing:

“We are so proud to announce @vanessabryant as the honoree of The Baby2Baby 10 Year Gala.”

BEING AN HONOREE

The organization continued: “Vanessa is the perfect embodiment of the Giving Tree Award, and we can’t wait to honor her this November at a time when it’s even more critical for us to come together for the children in poverty we serve.”

Paul Mitchell will present this year's event on November 13. Every year, Baby2Baby recognizes a mom who uses her position in the public eye to advocate on behalf of the kids the organization serves.

Co-CEOs Norah Weinstein and Kelly Sawyer Patricof jointly stated in a press release that Vanessa’s consistent support for the non-profit has been remarkable, adding it is more of her behind-the-scenes generosity that makes her stand out.

The California native has served as a Baby2Baby ambassador for several years. She is also the President and CEO of Granity Studios.

THE OVERALL EVENT

Meanwhile, past honorees for the Giving Tree Award include fellow moms Jennifer Garner, Jessica Alba, Gwyneth Paltrow, and TV host Drew Barrymore.

The event will be hosted in Los Angeles and will be a star-studded occasion with notable guests including Kelly Rowland, Mindy Kaling, and Katy Perry.

NATALIA AS COVER GIRL

Apart from Vanessa being honored for 2021, her oldest daughter Natalia Bryant graced Teen Vogue recently and signed with IMG models in February, making it her first foray into the industry.

Her mother could not be prouder of her after stunning in the recent cover for the teen magazine. She took to her Instagram to reshare the photos of the 18-year-old’s September 21 cover issue. The publication dubbed the upcoming model an "American Beauty."

Photographer Raven B. Varona captured the beautiful images. In one of the pictures, she rocked an oversized sweater affixed over a sheer pastel green blouse and had her signature curly locks flowing through a ponytail.

Vanessa and her late husband Kobe Bryant got married in April 2001. They welcomed four daughters, Capri, Bianka, their late child Gianna, and Natalia, throughout their union.
