Drew Barrymore Gushes over Ex-husband's New Wife & Reveals She Gives Them Space

Hollywood marriages are famous for ending in drama, tears, and bitterness when one or both partners get remarried. However, some Hollywood romances end amicably, and new relationships are embraced.

Drew Barrymore and Will Kopelman are the perfect examples of a Hollywood marriage that ended. Still, both partners were mature enough to keep their divorce amicable and treat one another with respect even after splitting.

Barrymore has not remarried, but her ex-husband has, and she has recently spoken again about how she feels about Kopelman’s new wife and their marriage.

KOPELMAN AND BARRYMORE

Kopelman and Barrymore were married for four years, from 2012 to 2016 but divorced two years after their youngest daughter was born. The couple got divorced after a couple of years of marriage troubles and tensions about where to live.

Barrymore revealed divorce was much worse than a simple breakup because marriage required more commitment than a relationship. She said she felt like the “biggest failure" when things didn't work out.

However, she revealed the couple were still friendly and were doing their best to raise their daughters in a happy and healthy environment even though they were no longer together.

KOPELMAN AND MICHLER

Kopelman got engaged to Alexandra Michler in February and they've been quite private about their relationship. Both have private Instagram accounts and keep themselves out of the public eye.

However, with an ex-wife as famous as Barrymore, there is not much that you can do to keep your private life as private as you would like it to be. The news of their engagement was revealed shortly after.

At the time, Barrymore weighed in on how she felt about the engagement, saying Alexandra is not an “evil stepmother” and that she loved the woman and the way she treated Barrymore’s two daughters.

BARRYMORE AND MICHLER

Michler and Kopelman recently got married and Barrymore once again spoke about how much she loved Michler and said she had “won the lottery” because of the incredible person her ex-husband is.

Barrymore said that although Michler knows that Barrymore is fond of her and thinks she is a beautiful soul, she gives her ex and his new wife space to feel uncomfortable with the relationship she has with them.

The actress revealed the three of them do dinners and birthdays with their daughters and spend time “hanging out” together, but she ensures that she does not try to be Michler’s best friend or intrude on the couple’s time together.

While all three adults have been focusing on their relationships with one another to ensure that the daughters are happy and well cared for, they are also focusing on themselves and their relationships.
