Vicki Gunvalson & Steve Lodge Call It Quits Ending Their Two-Year Engagement
Reality star Vicki Gunvalson and Steve Lodge have split, and allegedly Lodge was the one who initiated the breakup as he lost interest in the relationship.
Multiple sources recently confirmed to E! News that “The Real Housewives of Orange County” star Vicki Gunvalson and Steve Lodge have ended their engagement.
One insider claimed Lodge was the one who ended the relationship, whereas another stated Gunvalson, 59, had initially broken up with the politician back in June.

However, the two managed to reconcile. In addition, the now-former couple previously lived in different homes amid the ongoing pandemic.
One other source revealed Lodge was living like a single man in another country in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, while Gunvalson was based in the US.

THE ANNOUNCEMENT
Gunvalson confirmed the separation on Instagram on Wednesday, September 29, writing the time has come for them to move on with their lives:
“The time has come for Steve and me to move forward or move on, and we are … moving on. We are just going in different directions."
The Bravo star wished Lodge well in his next chapter and said she wants him to be happy, adding he has, in turn, wished the same for her.
According to People, Gunvalson has also deleted her Instagram pictures with Lodge, including their engagement announcement. The pair have also unfollowed each other.
MORE ABOUT THE BREAK-UP
A source told US Weekly that Lodge broke up with Gunvalson while she was still busy filming the “Real Housewives” spinoff show in the Berkshires.
“After he told her this, she was traumatized. It ruined her.”
The insider added that the Chicago native is still trying to deal with the breakup and is still a mess and not okay, stating she is currently in bad shape and still loves him.
The source revealed the exes had not been getting along for a while and that Lodge seemed disinterested in Gunvalson for a long time.
NO BAD BLOOD
Be that as it may, there is no bad blood between the two as they decided to continue to live their lives separatel. Lodge is spending more time in Mexico and Gunvalson is working on her business in California.
The duo started dating back in 2016 after they met at a charity event and got engaged in April 2019 after being together for three years. At the time, Gunvalson told Us Magazine that the proposal was incredible and intimate.
